Anyway, taking things as they are shown and not adding interpretation tadka, the makers are just passing time without committing to any kind of direction. Maybe they’re waiting for IPL or for the TRPs to come crashing down, whichever happens first. Till then, their crapfest will continue in the name of Rishta !!!

No issues with Armaan,Abhira or for that matter Ruhi becoz obviously until her intentions were covered armaan was not at fault but now he clearly knows so his dialogues aren't to keep ruhi away...
And I don't want to interpret itv show as you already mentioned as its not some fine piece of literature or any detailed written netflix series..
Even tvf videos,I would happily interpret but not itv show and this is in general not particularly for this show,any itv serial...
And as you said near death experiences,accident tracks,kidnapping,stalking,jealousy,almost losing other one are jumping story tracks..whenever writers want to do some major shift,they bring these tracks...and this one thing is happening in itv also leaving aside this particular show...
Here major tracks just turn to be passing one,be it rohit coming to know about ruhaan,his disappearece,abhira's going with yuvraaj and now this one..
I would like to add that one month before this same show had good writing,connect as well as plot if we removes goenka's tracks of abhir introduction or bankruptcy..but in case of AbhiMaan as well as poddars,it was going good but than suddenly it seem their motto changed to just keep triangle alive as well as suspence regarding RuHaan and AbhiMaan...how much you claim you can't be sure up until now they can justify both its just we are conected to AbhMaan so we only focus negatives of RuHaan but if there is anybody interested,they can also easily justify RuHaan and found negatives of AbhiMaan...or we are not producers,we can't stop them,they are capable of doing this,I just came to know that in their 9pm show they did get FL married to villian,so its not something out of question for them..they can do this to create drama,making RuHaan marry to eo and than realizing they don't want eo getting separated and again new adhyay of Abhira,Armaan and ruhi...favourite tagline of star😅
Now coming to your last para,I don't seem any of this happening,I yesterday said ki waiting for Holi but now I am scared of holi becoz it willbe filled with RuHaan as well as ruhi watching AbhiMaan,neither trp is going to drop becoz people are addicted and it will take some good amount of time for them to leave it...
So yes thats what I think that right now this show had pathetic writing while others had pathetic extended family and leads characteristics,you can't justify either....
