it did, Zaroon was a logical misogynist in the realms of Kashaf's world..because it worked with Kashaf..she missed the presence of a father figure..and Zaroon wanting to be head of the house..kinda fit in hand in gloves with her..I found that scene where she cried when he gave her money, very telling and psychologically interesting..! Also the way he reacted when he found out about Osama proposing to Kashaf..bhai you were a flirt in college and even had a broken engagement..you dont get to be upset with about Kashaf getting a proposal from your friend? The most problematic part of ZGH for me personally was when Zaroon lied about meeting Asmara..I would have doubted him and left the house too if I was Kashaf..

Kashaf actually isnt a strong character in the run of ZGH IMO..she had a lot of insecurities, bitterness etc and sometimes she was just wayy too rude.. but I liked how they both sort of balanced each other out in the end..she brought a sense of order, discipline and responsibility in him and he brought calmness and happiness in her life..

I just couldn't believe that people like Nisha can exist. She was just another level crazy. Doing it with your own sister. Upar se Emmad's character was cringe as well. He falls for first sister and married her. Suddenly he gets manipulated by Nisha just like that?? But have me sadistic pleasure when Ahmer shows Nisha her place & finally how she literally goes crazy..

Deewangi gosh! Danish was another crazy there. So weird 😂

Jalan was simply nuts..I am yet to come across a proper pyscho vamp like that in PTV smiley29like she was so sick..was rejoicing her own sister's death..I swear I love that scene where Ahmer takes on Nisha in the end..and atleast she got punished in the worst possible way for everything she did..the amount of times PEMRA banned this show lol..tbh it deserved to get banned toosmiley36

Kashf deeply and truly loved zaroon, some days back only I watched the last two episodes again and I must say she was very scared to loose him, also the thought of her life being like that of her mother and zaroon not accepting her two daughters led her to call him back for reconciliation..

Yeah she wasn't that strong like how she showed it to the world, like her waking up to the dream of zaroon divorcing her and then her voicing out that she would have died if this had been truth says a lot that she was really attached to him and wanted to spend her entire life with him..

Osama would never make sense because he was engaged to some other girl right after Kashaf rejected him, which isn't wrong because he had every right to move on but Kashaf needed someone who'll hold onto her because her father didn't, She had abandonment issues. Zaroon held onto her through everything, the drama didn't have misogynistic undertone because from Kashaf's mother to Kashaf, her sisters and even Asmara supported Kashaf over Zaroon when he messed up.

Women were presented in a very good light, Men including Zaroon were presented in a very poor light

Like Tere Bin had misogynistic undertones where every decision of Meerab resulted in a disaster and every decision of Murtasim and his mother was validated

Zaroon's sister was shown in poor light I feel.

It was an upgrade over her novel. That novel was very very regressive.

A lot of her novels have those undertones. Farhat Ishtiyaq writes her heroes better.

I wanted to mention about Farhat Ishtiaq. Her writing is much better than Umera Ahmed.I heard the same that the drama was better than the novel.
