Unpopular opinion but i didn't like pyaare afzal. It's supposed to be a ptv classic but watching it was a confusing experience. There was romance, then comedy track , then some weird underworld track and that pathetic ending.

I'm wondering why did i even watch the show..

yeah jbg was mini series and he was not solo hero. in fact the conventional "hero" was capt farrukh you can even say.

I think Wahaj has gained more from TB than Bilal has from IM. Yes his acting is being appreciated for playing Fazal/Shahmeer but Murtasim Khan was a rage cos of his looks and style.

Bilal already had a solid fanbase and was an A list actor with multiple hit dramas as lead before IM whereas wahaj wasnt that popular before TB. I guess ishq jalebi was the only superhit project where he was the lead before TB. Jbg gave him critical acclaim.

The style quotient of IM is very low because hum don't have budget and Bilal is mostly in his Fazal baksh look and because he has to be in Fazal baksh look he isn't that sharp as shahmeer either but his small dance became as viral as murtu's shawl if not more.

I guess out of the outsiders bilal was the luckiest as he managed to get popular within 3-4 yrs. Sajal, saba, yumna, wahaj etc took atleast 7-8 yrs to get that kind of popularity and a solid fanbase.
