Its was good from the creative side to show that Choton and Appu di family revolted ... Everyone has self respect and also i loved Choton dialogue of how much successful we can become at this age . That is 75%of our society words .

Before Anirudh used to give it back to the family and aslo Jhanak

But once he has joined the gang Jhanak too is hurt .

I wanted them to show a scene where Anirudh speaks to his self like how they showed fater event in the car .Atleast for viewers to know his side .

Directly exposing the marriage truth after his rude behaviour is not something i appreciate ...

Maya ji, this reminds me of a Pakistani show I used to watch a couple of years back called "Hum Kahan Kay Sachay Thay" starring the talented Mahira Khan, Kubra Khan and Usman Akthar. Its adapted form a short story penned by the wonderful Umera Ahmed, popular novelist and author of the hit show "Zindagi Gulzar Hai".

Basic premise of the story shows how the lives of three cousins Mehreen (Mahira), Mashal (Kubra), Aswad (Usman) is shaped up by the influence of their parents. It delves deep into topics of depression and its aftermath, Insecurities between cousins due to parent's influence, toxic married life and domestic abuse and other important topics very much relevant to Jhanak at the moment. It tends to get very depressing but has a surprisingly positive end. I would very much emphasize people here to give it a chance if they haven't watched it. it's very well crafted.

There is a similar track here to the one where Jhanak consumes pills and gets admitted to the hospital. But the way it was explored and how the ML Aswad repented after was done so beautifully, none of the ITV ones could match up till now. I so badly wanted a similar redemption track for Ani similar to Aswad, but unfortunately it wasn't written to its fullest potential.

The video below explains abuse so aptly, which I think needs to be done in Jhanak too.

Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay - Wikipedia. Link to synopsis.

Aapka Relationship Kaisa Hai Unk Saath | Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay | #HUMTV | Drama | #Shorts

Short clip talking about the concept of abuse.

Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay | Episode 18 | Eng Sub | Presented by Mezan, Master Paints & ITEL Mobile

Watch between 1:00 to 13:00 and 17:40 to 22:00 for the repercussions of abuse and depression.

It has English subs so no issues for non-native speakers.

TBH I don't think ITV ever gives depression and abuse the focus it deserves. Unfortunately in ITV all these are mostly pushed under the carpet and shows which do focus on these do not do well and have to change track abruptly due to TRP pressure and channel intervention (at least for star plus) - that was the case with Titlie. Show had such a promising premise and they turned it into love story with mindless saas bahu drama!

I know, I saw Titlie initially. Deals with topics of being married to a narcissist right?. It could have been so good but unfortunately, they messed it up. I also did not like Neha Solanki's acting much, so stopped after 30 episodes or so.

But please do watch this series, if possible, if not at least the clip I mentioned. You will understand what I mean. Umera Ahmed always writes great stories with social messaging, so I always watch any TV adaptations that might air. Daam, ZGH, HKKST, Durr-e-shehwar, Shehr-e-zaat, Maat, Alif are such classics. I stopped watching ITV for years because of how good these stories were.

I think the CVs wanted this kind of buzz for their show, show the ML doing something stupid and watch the drama unfold.

X is filled with abuses for Ani, even before all this people used to abuse him but now its almost tripled even neutral audiences are riled up. This time around Ani deserves every bit of these abusessmiley44

This what ITV would never go as they are more business minded ...The channels never give them a chance...

Yep, true that! Up until the recent episodes, the hatred for Ani was uncalled for. Now that Ani has flipped or atleast that's what the makers are showing for now, there's no stopping the rants on X
