Exactly, for eg Chandragupta had relationship with many women but Nand Nandini was fine with it till Durdhara was made Agramahishi (Chief Queen). Durdhara was a commoner so she felt it outrageous to be made Chief Queen but Chanakya wanted a loyal and docile woman on the throne with Chandragupta not an enemy princess. Probably Nandini was Mahadevi and Durdhara was Agramahishi. Poor Helena, she was only Devi (princess) but Helena was very beautiful and pleasing to Chandragupta she enjoyed more privileges than Agramahishi. It all depended on whom the king liked in bed

That's what I'm saying you can't justify unconditional love in polygamy. And i don't believe in unconditional love too.

It's just that you can be favourite queen of the king but it's difficult to be queen of the king's heart

Exactly, because heart is very naughty, it goes from woman to woman for kings, like Durdhara was chief queen but he had relationships with many women and she had to accept that, Bindusara had 16 legal wives, Ashok made Asandhimitra his Chief Queen but she also brought up his children born from slave women like princess Charumati. Kings were very intelligent, they only made those women their chief queens who easily accepted them having affairs and marrying other women.
