so much so that Amir had to say sorry for the songs of his film Dil

Tere Naam toh phir 90s kay bohut baad ki film hai released in 2003

isko kiyun bakhsha hua hai abb tak?

my the way it as been discussed as problematic so much that the star playing this role made the decision not to play negative characters. Amir said sorry but he decided not to play negative or grey shades because when he thought th character was getting glorified. In case u just want to trash this star or want others too there other ways then this movie because the movie labeled as problematic n been discussed just like the others. Darr baaazigar many even felt sorry for the character in Darr most ended up rooting on him over the hero.

is this some kind of a joke?

If the director wanted audience to get INSPIRED from his film, would he name it ANIMAL?

And who glorified films like Darr and baazigar?

Go read social media pages thrashing everyone who is even slightly sympathizing with the characters of Darr and Baazigar.. even the director showed Sunny and Juhi making fun of SRK's character in the end right after his death/murder, and were shown laughing imitating his stammering.

---------

to begin the poster was being in my opinion sarcastic. That aside no the character wasn’t joked on but got sympathy esp in darr in the end many were sympathetic same in bazigaar many thought because his the girls father was evil thst him n kajol should have happy ending. Sunny was upset that instead of rooting on the hero they rooted on the antihero. Animal is lashed out on due many reason yet at the same time some glorifying the character that we see in reels n the songs have become anthems.

that's just yours wrong perception of thrashing a star

I am just discussing a movie whihmch is still glorified and not been thrashed even once

Atleast Darr Baazigar etc have shown the lead as evil but in tere naam he was hailed as some devta or suchaa pakka asshiq for forcing the girl on him, harassing her, stalking her and even physically and psychologically intimidating her.

it was only after the certain tragedies

it's not that he had decided this to punish himself for harassing and stalking that girl

No one imitated SRK of Darr and baazigar

or even shahid of kabeer singh

or Ranbir of animal

But Salman's aura and hairstyle in tere naam was a rage. everyone copied him

And not just this but people actually felt sorry for him and never discussed his toxic unacceptable ways the way he handled that girl

Atleast I have not seen any social media podium where tere naam was dissed

any link?

Did you see the movie ?

He’s not mentally ill anymore in the end. But he chooses to live in a mental hospital cause the girl he loves is dead. That’a justice
