Which "norms"??? Filmfare has made it own 'norms' (and changed them when 'needed'). I suppose, even other Awards have their own "norms" they may break when they feel/see the need to do so.

At least Kajol's family is distinguished and a veteran class of acting. Mukherjee name has a lot of respect and it's earned it. It's synonymous with acting. In contrast, the Bhatt family is so morally bankrupt and cheap with just about every vice explored. They never had a good reputation and I know elders who refuse to watch anything that has to do with this family.

He is very very well known for buying awards giving various favors, it's an open secret which you don't want to admit

This guy single handedly screwed up the authenticity of filmfare with his corrupt overly competitive nature and ruined the prestige of these awards.

Just leave the family fare awards alone. They have gone astray a long time ago. It is now just another version of Koffee with Karan with his favourite nepo kids.

SRK, Salman, Aamir nobody attend it anymore.

It has lost viewership as well on tv. Nobody watches any award shows anymore. These tv awards don't bring glory to anyone anymore. I used to watch in childhood only for the fun dance performances.

National Award is the only glorious Indian award as of now.

Also the world has changed a lot since 2020. More cruelty and corruption all over and openly.
