Why did Anupama isolate herself for 5 years??

I don't understand.what was the point of 5 year isolation??5 year isolation was such a joke She abandoned majboor and CA. And Shahs threw her out otherwise she would have gone back to Shahs. She is still obessed to meet Shahs. Imagine crying to meet son like toshu but not caring about CA who loved her so much .

And the fact that crinjal is the reason behind MAAN divorce yet she still welcome that b*****.she always welcomes Shahs with open arms no matter how much they insults her but Anuj needs to beg infront of her

The day i understand Anupamaa's thought process , that day i will grow up and get an enlightening abt being a mother.

5 yrs isolation was to mourn the fact the Vannu n Baa, n babuji and the Shahs are still ungrateful to her.

No matter how much she can sacrifice, its not enough to satisfy them and make them like her an iota more.

She wanted to feel accepted by Shahs, praised, prayed, venered and set on a pedestal.

Anuj did that. Choti did. Her mom n bro did.

I think the only reason for 5 year leap was to replace CA actor with someone older. Otherwise the rest of the plot, her running away to America, Anuj moving to America to forget, etc were all possible without the leap. The 5 year old leap makes no sense.

She was saving the world from destruction by staying away from it

She was mourning her fate that now she couldn't provide free services to her pujaniya Baa-Bapuji, laadle biological bachche and turu lob Meeshter Shah. She hell cares about Anuj and CA. Had Shahs didn't abandoned her,she would have lived happily with them forgetting Mere Anooj and Mhari Bebli forever.
