I think this is the first time Hirani and his film are not sweeping nominations in the main categories. I am guessing a lot of people had a similar impression of Dunki as I had.

I said same thing. Chalo atleast now people won’t say he’s god of film making anymore. Him/KJO/SLB are all pretty much same level. All can have good and bad moments

Now we can say that, But until before Dunki, his record was stellar. I still wouldn't rate Kjo at the same level as SLB and Hirani though.

He had fab performances!

i am not sure about anything but best lyrics I thing should go to “nikle the kabhi” from Dunki, best actor to vikrant massey and director to vidhu vinod chopra.

All ill say is the actors should stop chasing names cause any director can come from nowhere can give some nice film (big hit)

Very predictable nominations.

The winners, or predicting the winners, might generate some excitement. Alia vs Rani. SRK vs Ranbir. I was gonna say Hirani vs Vindhu Vinod Chopra but Hirani isn’t nominated.
