It's a kind of connection between them that both of their moms have seen a tough life and have been disrespected in past. She is gonna make him reconnect with his mom through her own feelings of losing mother.

One of the major reasons why I am rooting for Armaan and Abhira is that Abhira completes Armaan. Armaan has been protective, a shant person but Abhira is a bomb - she complements his shant personality and makes him to look at things from a different perspective and they both probably are good at heart who do care about others but their ways are very different.
