My favourite bit was that when Abhira pulled him for the dance when he was left alone. Can't agree more with the analogy. Armaan is actually the one who mostly thinks about the family but if we look at the hindsight, his condition is no better than Abhira in the house - he is another punching bag of Poddar family..it's just that Abhira is strong enough to take a stand for herself while Armaan isn't. He can't even take a proper stand for his mother, apne liye kya hi lega. I can't wait for the day when he sees and realises the stands Abhira taking for him in future. Rohit k time toh he was blind and couldn't see but I am hoping, when it comes to his mom, Abhira may make him realise.

Exactly. Poor guy. He feels so indebted to them or rather they brought him up by drilling directly (by Kaveri) or indirectly (By Vidya) that they are doing him a huge favour by letting him be a part of the family. This gratitude doesn't let him take a stand either for him or his mom in front of the fam. He is constantly in the fear of betraying his so called fam and losing them forever since they are all he had. Therefore, he has been doing whatever they say till Abhira entered the house as his bride. Since then, he slowly started taking stand against Kaveri, Sanjay, etc. Because now he has someone else other than the fam who relies on him and whom he has promised to protect. Even in the Mahaepisode he tactfully saved Abhira from Kaveri's rebuke by pointing out that a guest is with them. Again, he was about to protest when Ruhi was yelling at Abhira. It was Abhira who stopped him. During Rohit's time, I don't think they were this close as they are now. Being indebted and grateful towards his family, esp. Vidya, and overprotective towards his younger brother, he reacted harshly at a stranger (which Abhira was at that time). It was understandable. But I did NOT like the way he blasted off at Abhira both during Ruhi's accident and Rohit missing incidents. Both were uncalled for and totally unjustifiable. I was so furious with him. Anyways, I feel his character is evolving for the better since then. And the couple have come closer since then. So, let's hope for the best.
