Why can’t we be respectful towards others religion?

I mean you have to understand that there are people who give a lot of importance to their religious beliefs. There are people who have devoted their whole lives to it and it defines them as a person..so the least we the “lesser sensitive souls” can do is respect it.

No one’s forcing anyone to follow their religious practices but let’s just try not hurt their sentiments too.

Am glad that we live in a more “awakened times” where people are speaking up.If one is intentionally hurting a particular section then don’t cry foul that section reacts.

As a Hindu I'm outraged over the fact that they're doing Pran Pratashita of Ram ji in an incomplete structure for the upcoming electrol gains rather than a fictional Hindu girl doing Namaaz. Complaint kahan likhwao?

The Shankracharyas( The highest leaders of Sanatana) have slammed BJP for this and refused to be there for the inauguration. But I don't hear a peep from the Rakhwalas of Hinduism on this. Kya ho gaya? Desh se upar to Modi tha hi, ab Hinduism se bhi upar go gaya? smiley36

And no, I never said I want Hinduism to emulate any other religion. It's unique and special and glorious that way. It's one of the oldest religions in the world. Most of the contemporary religions have infact gone nearly extinct , yet Hinduism survived . It'll survive till the end of the world as it is. ✨️

Certain leftist and fake woke propagandas are widely prevalent nowadays . But it won't float. It never did.

As I already said that I haven't seen the movie so I stopped commenting on it. You said in your post that you wish Hindus weren't as tolerant, I was replying to that

Totally cool with supporting massacre of children and needless wars against other religions and minority groups but dare anyone show anything “controversial” in a fictional movie about a majority religion and all hell break loose. smiley36

Does anyone have a timeline on when this forum took a sharp turn to the gutter because I don’t remember such a convention of easily triggered snowflakes before? smiley36

oho how about a muslim woman removing burkha and praying hanuman chalisa and prepare idli vada.

Yes keep nitpicking & talking shit about one religion while keeping the other religion protected from any kind of criticism & faultfinding. Ultimately people will think that the other religion is better & superior and will gravitate towards it.

Bollywood has been doing it since very old times. Hawas ka 'pujari', lalchi baniya, stereotyping all thakurs and Brahmins while showing certain community people as very imaandar, pure and pious souls.

not only that. since last two and half decades constantly having islamic phrases in songs. deliberate and soft conversion.

Hain? Why should I or would I care? Or maybe you’re thinking having a Khala in my username automatically makes me a Muslim? smiley36

most dangerous is the silence of that community. a fringe group will do the violence and the majority from the community will give a supportive silence

Also, idli vada is great. Didn’t know food had anything to do with religion but hey you learn something new on here everyday smiley36

Thanks for the morning laugh, y’all but I gottta head to work instead of laughing at a bunch of panties in a knot over a fictional movie. smiley36

Thankfully the use of word 'Kafir' in Bollywood songs has decreased a lot.

yeah . removing burkha and praying hanuman chalisa and preparing idli vada will add a certain flavour similar to what this movie has done.
