True they have to somehow force the triangle complication without degrading Armaan. The producer knows the amount of flak he will get if he himself shows initiative to feed Ruhi or show interest in her and I think they are also trying to show that Armaan is trying to get over her but circumstances are pushing them to be together. And in the show I think they have a dialogue that all elders failed to feed her but now Armaan might succeed as a friend. I'm all ready for the new dosti in poddar house. But it makes no sense like dadisa's dialogues. It's hard to believe a regressive family is forcing BIL to go and give food to his SIL, as if no other family member is present there. Agree ruhi & abhira's relationship is on and off, but why couldn't vidya went into the room with armaan or dadisa went?? Unko ya unse kya problem hain ruhi ko??
