I don't think so actually. To me it looks like both got attached to each other equally but as friends because they give more friendly vibes than couple vibes as of now. The day Abhira gives more attention to some other man, even if it is of friendly variety, the reaction of Armaan will be the deciding factor of his feelings for Abhira. Then it will be on an equal footing. As of now we are seeing only one side. Armaan being forced to take care of ruhi. Also, to me, it appeared to be more of irritation at Ruhi's permanent dukhiyari bechari mode more than irritation or jealousy at Armaan being with Ruhi.

Actually, when left to his own devices, Armaan prioritizes Abhira over Ruhi as proven by the scene where both Ruhi and Abhir were sneezing and coughing simultaneously. Also today, poor guy was just standing in front of Ruhi's door helplessly and only went inside after apologizing to Abhira and after she took a bite from the fruit bowl and asked him to go inside. So technically, he prioritized Abhira even today with the original purpose of muh meetha being served and Ruhi getting the leftovers.

I agree with what you said but I think to be honest the entire Poddar clan is afraid of her for various reasons. But the amount of scolding that Armaan lets her give to him, no one will believe that they call themselves fake couple.

Exactly the moment he leaves abhira for some reason, I am not saying just separation but it can also be as armaan moving to other city for some case , then he would start missing abhira and will realise his true feelings. Same way for abhira. Abhira may realise it first about her feelings but the past of armaan would be the reason Armaan would confess first.

I think with time, and if DKP doesn't decide to ruin their work, Abhira will have the entire family wrapped around her little finger. If they do it right, they can bring back original Singhania family vibe back with Sr Akshara.
