It's a decent film, I would have enjoyed it more if it had been less preachy

I was quite surprised with this one! I actually really liked it. Simple yet effective and lots of great messaging. It was almost like this was eyewash after Archies!
Adarsh was so so good and looked hot! I’ve been wondering why his career hasn’t picked up since White Tiger! But he is amazing, especially in silent moments where his expressions are enough!
Sidhant and Ananya were good as well but it also seemed like they were just playing themselves. Both characters are not something difficult or challenging for them to slip into.
Ananya has improved though and honestly I rather watch her than Suhana types.
I liked both khol gaye hum kaha and Archies
A sweet and simple film. Adarsh and Sidhant were great. Ananya was decent enough but her dialogue delivery needs further improvement.
Oh, diving into the shallow and superficial world of Zoya Mam's films. I enjoy watching her movies, but every time, I end up a bit frustrated by how she wraps things up so superficially. Sure, they feel good and entertaining, with Instagram-worthy monologues translated into Hindi, but if you've been through the situations Zoya puts her characters in and can relate to them on some level, you start to see how she kinda glosses over the depth at the end.
There's a guy who's been through some serious stuff in his adolescence, like sexual abuse. Suddenly, after a breakup, he realizes he has intimacy issues, and then everything is magically all good and dandy. That's just wrong and sends out the wrong message. Healing, if it ever happens, is a rollercoaster. It comes and goes. There are days when you feel like you've conquered it all and life is good, but then there are days when you slip back into old habits, and everything looks bleak.
That scene where he breaks down at the therapist, admitting he's not okay, is powerful. I wanted to give props to the director/writer for including that scene. It captures the helplessness of a victim so well. But then, a few scenes down the line, at the end, he miraculously finds his path, and bam, all is well. That made me want to slap the director/writer for butchering that character.
Ahana's story seemed better written, and she did justice to it with her acting. Again, the other gym trainer guy's story started off well, but him guessing the password on the third try just seemed outlandish. There could have been better ways to show revenge.
Overall, a good movie but the writing could have been better.
Did Zoya direct the movie? Did Zoya also direct Archies?
It was a nice movie. Like short movies we watch on YouTube kinda.

She's one of the writers and producers.
The director is a new person.
Good one-time watch, got draggy somewhere after the middle
