Personally, I'm more interested in the real 'Ranga-Billa' case and certainly would have liked a less fictionalised rendition.

As there were created two new national bravery awards (for under 16 year old girls/boys) because of the way the siblings tried to fight the kidnappers, I asked AI if there is a list of bravery acts which got rewarded... giving me some detailed examples, the summery was:
