Armaan has inferiority complex of the size of a mountain. Koi bhi isse kuch bhi suna sakte hai, and he gets affected. I wonder yeh lawyer kaise bana with such an unstable character?
That's why he has got Abhira as wife. Wohi uska uddhar karegi
People here were right.. yeh banda pura Itv bahu material hai. Koi aake isse kuch bhi suna sakte hai and he feels he is responsible. He wants everyone's happiness and tries to take care of everyone. That is the main issue. I don't think he even has any romantic feelings left for Ruhi. But feels he somehow ruined her life
and should mend it.
Uska uddhar uddhar karte karte woh khud Tata ta bye bye Ho jayegi better avoid him and treat him as a friend
Armaan never considered Abhira the reason for him not being able to marry- True but he does not leave the slightest opportunity to remind Abhira that she is unwanted in this relationship. He had already said it was mistake he married her . Now he is saying that Ruhi moved away leaving her good fortune and thats why she is a good position. These are not benign dialogues from the ML. As someone mentioned in a different post ML saying mean things abt class etc is still acceptable but these much less so.
I agree. That is how the character is. He projects what others have fed him. He is guilt ridden. That is why he tries to put the blame onto someone here Abhira because she is an easy target. But deep down he knows he clearly messed up. The issue here is realises later and apologises and Abhira forgives him. Abhira is too good to believe in tit for tat. She would never say anything touches the wrong nerve of his. To me the precap dialogue "Woh wahan hai isiliye tum yahan ho" sounded more like had I married her you wouldn't have been here. Armaan not standing up for his love created a chain reaction which ended up in him marrying Abhira. Had he been already engaged to Ruhi he would have refused Akshara with a very good reason. Anyway this is all conjecture. We'll have to wait for the episode for the better picture.
If Armaan keeps this pendulum behaviour of blame and sorry he deserves every bit of bashing. A person like Armaan can easily be guilt tripped. His journey from a docile being to a man standing up for his rights would be a good character growth. That is why maybe the makers need to establish the flaws of Armaan. Not everyone can be 'Abhinav'. It will take sometime for Armaan to choose Abhira over family. As long as he in indebted towards Poddar and guilty for Ruhi Armaan will never put Abhira as his priority.
. Let them keep and then get the consequence. Then they can change his character for the better. Otherwise he will be forever kept in the gray zone where people will despise him one day and be ok the next. But from past experience I think audience might give up sooner than the original one. Also so far Ruhi was given some soft sides but now she is turning full vamp. I am not sure audience will not appreciate this double jeopardy.Abhiras antics will eventually lose its charm. What after that?Originally posted by: Sawari67
If I'm editor I'm removing that horrible armaan dialogue. They have also cut some dialogues in the past. Could limit the big damage that dialogue is going to do

If they go by the OG show which they are copying, then it will be till the penultimate episode. Ruhi whole existence will be guiltripping.
That show was so sadistic and traumatic to watch.
I want an abhira who isn't overly attached to roohi, yes cheer her up etc but don't have to get insulted by her. It's same as akshara letting arohi trample all over her in the initial days.

I'm still hoping this is the case. Not every character can be Abhinav Sharma. And even Abhinav Sharma was not flawless. So I don't expect Armaan to be perfect. But I want them to show his character growth, with Abhira as his support and strength. That would be a nice story arc, instead of rushing into things. Problem with this show is lack of consistency. That's what they need to take care of first.
