It seems like there has been a MASSIVE surge in Yumna's popularity in the last 2-3 months. No talk show (and SH episode) now seems complete without a Yumna reference. Before that it was Wahaj Wahaj but now it seems to have been replaced by Yumna jaap. I also read somewhere that Nayab is trending everyday for the last few days.

Do you think if this survey were conducted again now, would Yumna be #1 or in the top 2 at least? Is Sajal still popular? I do see Durre being much more higher ranked now than what she was a few months ago.

That survey happened at the peak of TB's popularity and wahaj got more votes than fawad khan.

Sajal, Mahira, ayeza, saba etc seems to be where they have already seen their peak and is considered to be good by everyone and no matter how their dramas do they will have a name for themselves. Even if saba don't trend on Twitter or her dramas don't make much buzz nobody will say she is overhyped or is no more a good actress. Same with sanam saeed. She is the only one everyone unanimously liked for being part of the Netflix show. Just because they are not trending doesn't mean they are less popular now.

Yumna right now is everywhere promoting her movie and giving IVs to all portals and channels. So obviously there will be more content of her compared to wahaj. It looks more like wahaj's hype died down rather than yumna's increased. All her fanpages are active and SH clearly jumped ships and is inserting her in things unrelated to her whereas they are taking sly diggs at wahaj and constantly comparing his character from mein to murtasim.

It’s sad that wahaj doesn’t know how to handle his stardom. He shoulda have chosen scripts more careful . It’s like he lost his versitality. Even in pink shirt, it seems that Sajal, Sania Saeed will shine and he plays the typical male character. After tb's sucess he only did mein which he signed before TB blew up. If anything he should be appreciated for not backing out from a signed project just because he got more popular over time and the drama is female orientated. It's the project with Maya and tb S2 for which he should be judged. Going by the team of the sun mere Dil, except the ph everything else is promising. Keeping kqr's personal views aside we cannot deny he gave memorable dramas and strong characters whether it's negative or positive. Haseeb Hassan is also a reputed director with multiple hits to him. So that project looks promising and it has to be really bad for it to not be a critical and commercial hit. No matter how the story or the team of tb 2 is he had no other option but to sign it.

Pink shirt again was shot way before his sucess and it's a bee gul drama so obviously it will be female oriented. He might have done it because of the team rather than his character.
