Was Yumlal ship really big a deal when PKS was on air. I know PKS did not do great in terms of TRPs (average TRP is 3.8). And I also remember Bilal solos angry at Yumna, Rind and Hum at the time because they believed Bilal was being sidelined in PKS.

So how did Yumlal become such a big thing? I had always thought Sajal-Bilal ship was the real popular one but going by SM hype, Yumlal seems to be a more popular ship. Or was Yumlal ship a cult hit - it had niche following in the beginning but became more mainstream later

What am I missing here? How and when did Yumlal become such a famous ship?

Anything related to yumna, wahaj and tb are more noisy than the rest. On the ground level survey yumna ended up 4th most popular with sajal and hania being more popular and ayeza taking no1 spot. But out of the 4 ayeza has the least active online fans. Her getting big commercial dramas that aims to get high trp and her no of shoots and ads are proof that ayeza is extremely popular in her country on the ground level. The masses love both husband and wife.

Sajal and Bilal clearly are much more loved as an onscreen couple and without a doubt fav of most of billu fanpages and sajal fanpages.

Right now I am seeing this on Twitter where yumna fans are hyping up Ahmed and Bilal pairing of hers and making it look like as popular as wahaj and her's. Before IM, yumlal fans were sleeping but now bilal's hastage is getting spammed by yumna content. His hastage is used even when the post is entirely about yumna. Then there are rumours of bilal and yumna doing another mommal ph drama.

It looks like pks's success is being over exaggerated like everything related to yumna by her fans.

I remember that survey but it was a few months old.

It seems like there has been a MASSIVE surge in Yumna's popularity in the last 2-3 months. No talk show (and SH episode) now seems complete without a Yumna reference. Before that it was Wahaj Wahaj but now it seems to have been replaced by Yumna jaap. I also read somewhere that Nayab is trending everyday for the last few days.

Do you think if this survey were conducted again now, would Yumna be #1 or in the top 2 at least? Is Sajal still popular? I do see Durre being much more higher ranked now than what she was a few months ago.
