PM didn't tweeted anything against Maldives he was just promoting tourism within India. But Maldives ministers started targetting PM's visit n one minister said Indian rooms will smell bad n he had even applied for Indian citizenship few years back.
If Americans decided not to go to any place that had insulted our presidents, we wouldn't even be able to leave the house.
Look, I am all for supporting local tourism. India is stunningly beautiful and has many hidden gems worthy of visiting. But I am not a fan of opportunistic jingoism and propaganda to promote tourism.
