Agree with you. We had bolder shows earlier and well handled. In my opinion the problem with this show is that here grey shades of anupama are actually showed as white and we are supposed to agree with them that anupama loves CA as she keeps getting her flashbacks when she herself didn't blink twice before leaving the same CA due to her ego. They can very well show grey shaded leads but they don't need to justify them as perfect then

Thing is certain set of audience gets a kick by watching female lead humiliated every day . Rajan Shahi just doesn't have guts to make a show where female leads are not treated as doormats and mahaan mrs know it all

The best shows i swa actually in last 10 -12 years is

Ghatbandan - women empowerment, changing a don to a good man respected by society. The male lead Raghu bhai is truly a beacon of women empowerment unlike anuj kapadiya. Hes illiterate and a don. But he funds his wife IPS dream and makes her ACP although his mom/family opposes tooth and nail his wife becoming police officer. They even tear all her books and try to kill her to stop her from giving UPSC exams but Raghu has none of it saves her from everything and helps her do UPSC. Aso from underworld don he turns vada pav seller becomes good man although society, police, criminals all harass and humilate him or hit him/attack him. Its true women empowerment show and a criminal reformmation show.

Katha Ankahee: A man hates women because his dad married second time and left his mom. So he des sexual harassment on katha who wants 10 lakh for her sons cancer treatment and spends one night with her. How he changes and falls in love with katah and apologieses to her and tries to marry her etc forms story

Kavya: An middle class girl in UP trying to be IAS officer, struggles. A minister son Giriraj Pradhan falls in love with her. They both love each other but parents dislike minister son loving IAS. Minister son gives up his IAS dream being falsely accused by Kavya mangetar that he hit him and Kavya thinks its true and gives witness against her love only. How family separate both and how Kavya becomes IAS and troubles as IAS officer form story. Minister son becomes journalist after getting kicked out of IAS academy thanks to false allegations but does not hold grudge on Kavya.

There may be more good shows i have not watched. I am trying to watch older shows of 90s and early 2000s they are better

The male leads of all 3 shows come from bad family like don, one is women abuser in office boss, another a politican son.

But all 3 are much better than anuj kapadiya as women empowerment beacons

Especially Raghu Jadhav from ghatbandan coming from lower class uneducated chawl background yet help his wife become ACP and always helps her when enemy attacks

We are responsible to promote these cringe shows. Until we stop watching and stop discussing it won’t stop and will go worse. They are making money and we are losing our mental peace by paying money.
