There is more going on in Amruta's own individual and family life than what is going on with the Ahujas. Yet most of it is not explored. She was taken aback that Gautam and Mom agreed, and she agreed only because of her mom. Expenses for wedding? Its not cheap in Mumbai, did mom even consider it? would mom have listened to her if she mentioned it? my guess is she wont. They didnt even talk about her having given up the job - Gautam's sole reason to agree to marry her. They didnt need to talk about it when they met in the cafe but then he couldn't even wait some time to get his mom at her place.

Guess all these will only come on the day of him rejecting her.

They are moving towards that - starting from Jan 1 ep and perhaps going to continue. They could've started the character in a better way - for more than a month she felt uni-dimensional. Its only now that we realise there are at least a couple of more layers to her.

Not justifiable at all, but at least her motives get more clear. Kind of know where she is coming from - still needs a doctor. Bebe and aunt.. yup. cant agree more. Another character i dont find any clear motive / pattern in is Ishika. Why Jayesh? Just to give Amruta a tougher time? Could she not get anyone else? even Mr.Ahuja for that matter - or that uncle?

Yes, the latest eps are okay for Mama A's side, hope they will keep it this way.

I guess we all wonder that. I don't understand her character's importance yet. If she is the main villain here, they better give us more details. It doesn't make sense that she chose Jayesh and is behind Bhavani Maa's happiness, fortune, and whatever. I mean, she is the one breaking their family, so in that case the one frustrated should be Aai, right? But no. Her character's motive has no logic. Agar koi lut sakti ti toh Ahujas hi karti I wanna know more about her.

Like some more people, I'm also waiting to see brains & contacts of Amruta getting used from Jan 2024 episodes to justify her as a high paying, qualified, confident and experienced professional.

Dialogues boast that few years back she did two jobs to support her family financially, even cancelling her wedding on 'nth day' for Chitnis family sake.

Here NO thoughts, action, attempts shown, (which is quite contrary to her past) from her side to even apply for NEW job whether within or outside banking sector, which is unjustifiable and irksome while she is actually living in some neighbour aunt's house as a guest, with quick family responsibilities to address.

For sake of Nimrit's parties by ott Ahuja's (taken center stage as per writers as they have no other plots ready) it looks like Amruta has been made to lose her brains and own priorities in life.

Till Lohri it will be only Ahuja's boring house parties, so nothing worthy can be expected in Jan episodes to make Amruta justifiable about her priorities in life?

On a serious note, I would love to see some "office romance" than these. And also what kind of business are they running? Property business or something else???

Well, even we hate her she is bringing a new angle to the story, Virat ka past, but I don't think they will easily reveal everything espe in front of Amu.

Also kind of odd that there has been not much talk about Gautam in her home after he left. Given the situation - much awaited alliance, finally something clicking - I would guess any family wont mind talking about it, if not 24/7, at least 10h/7d. Could even have been what Bhawani suggested to her when she walked in complaining about Ahujas on Jan1 ep - 'you have to now be concerned about Gautam not the Ahujas'. Kind of gives away the direction that is going - even if its obvious. [Gautam is already in the backburner. ]

I doubt that Ishika is the main villain anymore - to me she fell down that pedestal when she cried and complained to Virat. doesn't look like she has enough in her to be that. Hmm... kind of what main villains do too, but made me think she cant be. And since then, she has been shown her place in almost every scene.

Yes, she isn't that strong.

Maybe there is no proper villain in the show bass mean people here and there.

Any chances Nimrit is also adopted? Think someone [flutterby(?) cant find the post] had suggested that before - along with other complications. (Trying to read into that virat-babita scene). Perhaps that's part of their past that's mentioned in the promo.
