I am also wondering if Rayaan will do something that goes against MJ because from the beginning of the show he has made it obvious that he’s been the neglected child.

Are you sure that Zaid doesn't know about MJ's medical condition? I thought he must be aware? If not there should be a dramatic revelation which increases his guilt 100x.

I don't think that Rayan would do anything against MJ. Bcz it means going against his father. He does seem like he cares about his father.

This episode actually explained the dynamics of the household that many of us had already concluded. Asif is the boss, the head of the family and he holds all the power. Zaid is trying to strengthen Ayra position as well as his own which has weakened since the introduction of Ayra to his family. As Zaid mentioned to Ayra, she is weakening his own position and hers too as a result of her actions. Every action of hers undermines him.

The discussion they had in the room about the rival company was very telling about Ayra’s nature. It makes complete sense of why he would expect her not to work there. How could Ayra even question why Zaid started working there when she was fully aware of the situation. He left home and had to work there as a last resort. He left because of her. Did she forget? Even here, I felt Zaid avoided rubbing it in her face that he left because of her and said it was because of the sake of their relationship. She still didn’t get it. She was like a little child asking why it was okay for him to do it and not her.

She’s just pushing him straight into Mj’s arms. He actually confided with MJ regarding his issues and this was before the whole rival company fiasco. He must be even more frustrated now. Zaid is so delusional for not realizing that these problems with Ayra existed from before. She was just more subtle in her ways before. Also MJ put her hand on Zaid’s hand in the car!!! Why did they crop that out? Zaid looked down to and it looked like he wasn’t sure what was going to happen 😂 He relaxed when he realized she was just consoling him. He was clearly thinking about her at the office.

After overhearing Asif and MJ last episode, Ayra’s position is already weak and she knows she won’t be treated fairly. Zaid, it’s been established, has no say whatsoever. Like she said “I thought I was joining my husbands office but I know now that it’s just your dads office” - so yeah she’s being dumb but I also understand where she’s coming from. She can’t rely on Zaid because he himself relies on his dad - who wants Ayra out. She totally should have told zaid though before the interview and not after.

It makes sense for zaid and MJ to get together when Ayra herself is throwing him at her. I don’t see zaid ending up with MJ any other way. Ayra is struggling herself so she’s unable to reconcile her self respect with marriage and its expectations at the moment. But I don’t think either zaid or Ayra’s hearts are in a bad place. Ayra even tried to reassure asif after her dumb move that she will not betray them.

I’ll come back to Zaid and MJ after the Ayra Asif showdown is over lol. Right now they just seem like an afterthought by the writer. And yes, totally bad editing by Badar, as usual. He can suck the life out of anything lol

Is it just a sad case of me seeing this so much in life that I’ve become desensitized to it? I’m trying to figure out if I’m underplaying it. Rayyan is scum for sure so I’m not making any excuses for him but Ayra’s reaction was so off with Zaid. It felt like she was playing it up a bit. I felt Rayyan was inappropriate and obviously most likely made Ayra uncomfortable but it wasn’t threatening. She handled it and didn’t seem afraid at all. Why was she acting like a damsel in distress. I feel like it’s just another mechanism to try and control Zaid. She could have just told him what happened, but I feel she was in an unfavourable position with him and is using this to get him back to protecting her.

I thought her over reaction in front of Zaid was Ayra's new gameplay to pit Zaid against Rayyan and create a rift between MJ and Zaid. TAt the same time, it will rouse Zaid's protective instincts and his guilt too so he will take a stand for her no matter what.

Yes I think so too in which case, she is very manipulative

She’s obviously aware of Rayyans history with women - through Zaid telling her in the past of course - and like she said, he was quite clear in his manner. Rayyan is just cringe and right now he’s plotting something even more vile against Ayra - I can feel it 🤢

if we can give MJ credit for putting up a strong facade in front of others but getting affected by things privately, why not Ayra ? She was firm with Rayyan but it’s obvious how upset she got from his behavior.

Any form of flirting from an in-law can be upsetting so perhaps she was a bit disturbed by it before Zaid entered. Or maybe it’s how Rayyan called her a home wrecker that upset her. I do understand that we can appear strong in situation and break down after. I just didn’t see how the situation would make her cry or be fearful. He didn’t touch her or threaten her. He was creepily flirting with her while being completely condescending towards her. Her being annoyed, pissed off, a bit disturbed (especially considering the relation), and disgusted is understandable. What was there for her to break down and act like such a damsel in distress in front of Zaid? I’m not saying she should hide anything but why the overreaction? It felt like she was putting on an act.

really? Watch her before Zaid enters the room. She was so upset. I feel like she’s on the verge of a breakdown. I didn’t get any fake vibes at all. And why would she be fake? Ryan totally crossed boundaries with her. Don’t forget this Ayra has been harassed by multiple men before - on the road, in her house by the goons sent by Asif. Remember how afraid she was and she closed the doors of her house? I think all that trauma is coming back. She feels alone and unsafe.

She’s on a very lonely self destructive path right now and I think she’s making some dumb calls but the writer isnt painting her to be manipulative but an inevitable tragedy eventually.

like I said she’s been harassed by men before - the ones asif sent. Who harassed and followed her on the road. And scared her a lot. And the goons sent to her home. One of whom wanted to forcefully marry her. It makes total sense for her to relive that again thanks to Rayyan and his sleazy behavior. She’s seen it before and it was traumatic

like if something like this happens on the road, you give a shut up call but that doesn’t mean that the incident didn’t affect you. It naturally does. And ESPECIALLY if this happens in your own house ! Which is supposed to be safe. How must she feel about that ? And if it happens inside your house, if you don’t tell someone of course the situation will only get worse. So I’m glad she let Zaid know.

These are just the signs the writer is building up to the point when zaid will eventually not be there to protect her when she will really need it. That scene from the trailer is extremely sinister - ayra with asif and Rayyan. Totally giving me chills now especially now that Rayyan is contemplating payback

I can feel a big tragedy coming up in the drama, but I feel even though Ayra and Zaid are facing issues there’s an underlying care and love there. That hug 🥰 They totally forgot they were fighting lol.

They absolutely can reconcile but right now they can’t see each others point of view. Both are right in their own way. Sadly, I feel fate will decide the course of this relationship. Part of me still roots for them to sort their issues and heal from the past but oh well. I’m not very opposed to a reformed MJ learning to love through all this either. I like both these women. Zaid is falling a little short on my respect, but he’s the hero we’ve got so I’ll just deal with it lol.

Anyway. Whatever happens to Ayra I’m excited for her remaining arc. Even if she goes, I would love for her to show them all up before she does 🙌🏽👍😎

But she didn’t even react like this to the goons. This was honestly nothing close to that. It didn’t feel like it would trigger anything since it was really nothing more than disgusting, inappropriate flirting paired with rude, condescending behaviour. Completely unacceptable and wrong so no doubts there but I didn’t understand the tears. Maybe she is getting tired of being demeaned. That’s completely possible however she’s portraying the incident as something else altogether. Zaid’s sister’s husband flirting with his wife is bad enough and I’m sure enough to upset Zaid. I’m not questioning why she told him. She should have, but the reaction she showed in front of him didn’t seem sincere.

Also her asking why he’s leaving her doesn’t make sense. He went to work, she went to work too. If she doesn’t want him to leave her side, she can go along with him. My whole problem with Ayra is that she didn’t have to come into this house at all. She created conditions that made him come back and then complains about everything around her when he can’t do much now that he’s returned. Even now, she is choosing to work for the rival, won’t honour anything that Zaid says but expects to fully control him. Her behaviour is definitely coming off as manipulative.

I agree.

My 2 cents,

Rayyan unexpectedly bumped into Ayra, looks like he came to meet his sister. The disdain was so evident in that scene,he clearly considers Ayra as his sister’s home wrecker. He pulled a cheap n sleazy move to probe her place in the household but Ayra being the strong woman she is ,stood her ground and threw his past mistakes right back at him. She walked away with confidence, silently winning that round. I didn’t see her visibly shaken at all.

(Strictly my opinion)The Ayra I know would’ve gone all guns blazing at Zaid or Mubashira about Rayyan instead she decided to draw sympathy and sow discord between Mub and Zaid. This move stemmed from her discomfort with Zaid getting close with Mubashira.

Ayra’s is clearly unable to deal with her own internal conflicts within this family dynamic and she’s messing it up big time. How did she even think that this family would agree to this job offer from the rival company—Infact, who would??? She’s been insecure from the day 1 of her marriage. I somehow feel that she impulsively decided to get married to Zaid to avenge her brother’s death but her feelings are coming in between and she’s clearly unable to deal with these conflicting feelings and is steering towards a very morally grey area. There’s a role reversal happening here between Mub and Ayra. Mub gave up her ego or atleast trying to , to save her marriage n Ayra is doing just the opposite.
