This week's episodes were both absolutely amazing. What a treat to have Udit Narayan and then, Mika Singh and Hans Raj Hans ji.

Every contestant was good other than Anjana. She has just boxed herself to the one genre of singing with absolutely no variation. I'm just bored with her singing the same kind of songs every episode.

Based on earlier seasons, it is the channel that boxes contestants into brackets rather than their own choices. It is very sad and against the spirit of such contests, but that's what it is.

He was there this weekend on Saturday episode on New year special.

I did happen to watch Sunday's episode of Indian Idol and I thought it was really good.

No big highlights for me, or anybody that stood out spectacular, but everybody did a great job and that is all I can say.

Piyush, Utkarsh and Vaibhav were the best on Sunday episode. Mahima and Muskaan were great and Anjana did good too. Also I am only talking about their main solo performances. It was an amazing episodes with just singing and only singing.
