Agree whether joint or nuclear living in a familial setting always has it's pros and cons. Sadly, rishta only portrays elders of the family as villains and them changing their perspective forms their core story and it necessarily isn't always true. Simply put because something has been age old necessarily mean it should be shunned, most serials today promote and propagate that false notion.
