MT. Why do people hibernate or Deactivate? - Page 7

Well, I will not generalise and karna bhi nahi chahiye cuz everyone has their own reasons (for hibernating/deactivating). But if you are pointing towards certain members () then please mention it in your main post, Cari.

On a serious note, let's not weigh everyone in the same manner. :')

People deactivate because they want to. It's as simple as that. As for motivations, not everyone is built the same.

For me I just stay away as too lazy to go and find that hibernation button and again to activate.. too much work!!!

Personally I think it can create problems reactivating again. It's a hassle.

Apni soch hai khud ke liye, wo jyada zaroori.Now this is SELF REFLECTION for me. The more i dwell on what they think about my hibernation then i am going to lose my peace of mind.

We all are fake to certain extent. don't we!

Yes, pull away and give your ownself the attention. But if you identify someone who has this thought process, there is no harm in pointing it out and they can chose to self reflect or not. End of the day if you can nake a difference to someone then why not try once. Then the rest is up to them.

The pressure of social image is increasing, and it's important to learn that it should never get to you and you should be indifferent to it.

That's fair, and yes they are.. hence It's nice to know why people chose the option of deactivating in Social forums and IF and some do it regularly, because I've never done it so can't relate to it for an emotional opinion.

Maybe too much going on with their pms. And they do not like it. Maybe they got attacked through pms and attackers get away with it? Didn’t one member made a post about how one member supporting terrorists? And targeted them in a very harsh way. Some members here can cross a line and do not use social media or IF responsibly.
