Movie was released in 2005. When did it start preproduction or casting? Because that would have been when 9 year old Alia auditioned.

I do remember the version with her being 11. But she also apparently met SLB twice. Once for Black auditions and once for Balika Vadhu. Which one was when where at what age is … 🤷🏽‍♀️😆.
