And frankly, I don't think she was much better in SOTY. And the slight difference that did make her better had more to do with SOTY being a big-budget theatrical film where her co-stars were better actors and could raise her performance.

At the end of the day they're getting the views that they want. People are hate watching it and then cribbing about it. Why watch it at all? I ain't going anywhere near it. There's huge curiosity to watch these nepos and that's what they're banking on.

If the judgements in this forum are representative for the general reaction on social media, it will be the first test of dedication to the profession for those criticised the most.

My reaction to the movie is different to the general reception here. I like Vedang's performance but not more than others...he fortunately got the most rebellious and most "adult" character, but to me his co-actors' screen presence was as important as his one (Jughead's - Mihir's - made a stronger impression on me, e.g.).

I won't argue anymore (I already wrote everything I wanted to write) as with this overwhelming rejection of Veronica's and other characters and also the movie as such, I don't see a reason for discussion anymore.

You can discuss with those who are genuinely criticizing....but not with trolls....

Alas Smiley, you're one of those who show nothing else than contempt for what I write...you're definitely one who is in no way interested in what I would understand as a discussion...you just enjoy to be as mean as possible...and others follow suit...repeating over & over again that Suhana is like SRK with a wig, Agastya is like his uncle, Vedang the only good one...it shows me just how superficially this movie had been watched - in m y opinion...

Also, I also can’t engage in a discussion in which someone can’t be honest and state the obvious. Thankfully BlueIce was more honest in her reviews.

My views on the film, as you can see, are VERY MUCH aligned with other people are saying. It’s not like I watched Black or Barfi and gave such feedback. It’s warranted in this case. My feedback is legit. Unlike others I do give credit where it’s due ( find my Gangu and Raazi reviews) and equally so, if someone’s bad on screen. I’m definitely going to point it out and I don’t care whose DNA matches who. I hope you realize it’s THIS kind of behaviour that makes people hate certain stars. You’re not helping anybody.

ishaan khatter would have made a good Archie

Saw the movie and it was an absolute headache and snoozefest 😴

Vedang really stood out even though he hardly had any major scenes and he has the looks.

Mihir Dot and Yuvraj were good in whatever limited space they had in the movie

Agastya should not take up any more acting projects, he sounded like a robot. Dude had big big scenes and he just fell flat - no expression nothing

Khushi was actually decent, passable. Maybe she can improve.

Suhana girl stop moving your body so much when talking or walking. Her emotional scene with her dad and Xmas scene was good but that's about it. It is so hard to believe she's made to be someone the guys go crazy for 😭. I hope she takes up some down to earth projects because girl ain't a looker. Try going the Smita Patil, Konkona way

The older generation were on point with their act of being parent. I loved Archies dad he was really good.

Overall: Waste if money literally to make this movie. I wonder what was Zoya thinking.
