Suhana Khan is a total miscast as Veronica.

As someone pointed out Kareena Kapoor's Poo is the closest that comes to Veronica's characterisation.Kareena did that so well.

Suhana Khan could have done better if she watched Kareena's portrayal of Poo.

Agastya Nanda does not have Archie's charm to play that role. Archie as a character is nothing special but there's something charming about that character and that's the reason why the comic series has enjoyed success for so many decades.

Kushi Kapoor probably would have been a better Veronica

Firstly I want to first appreciate Vedang, Mihir, Dot and Yuvraj. It takes a lot of courage to work with nepo kids and stand shoulder to shoulder with them. I must say these four held their own.

The show stealer is certainly Vedang. You can’t help but stare at him. Even when he’s doing nothing, the screen presence draws you in. He has the charm, body and acting talent for sure. I really hope he gets more opportunities because he absolutely rocked it. He’s so hot

Agastya was a let down for me. He doesn’t have the charm nor physicality to pull the role off. In some scenes he was purposely made to be taller than Vedang which was hilarious. I found Agastya particularly weak in group scenes. He’s a bit better when he’s alone or in a scene with one actor, but in a group setting the insecurity shows on his face. His mannerisms are full on Abhishek and that’s not a compliment. One strain of that guy is more than enough for our lifetime. Also his mouth is really weird looking.

Khushi was good but needs to improve more. I do think she was a bit better than Janhvi in Dhadak, who was just plain awful. There were some scenes where her mouth looked weird. She surprisingly does better in louder scenes or when she has to speak up.

Suhana Khan makes Ananya Pandey look better. I have a newfound love for Ananya suddenly Suhana Khan - you don’t have the face, looks, attitude, body or acting skills to be in Bollywood. This is what she learned in acting school. YUCK. Please go away and don’t pollute the screen again. In some scenes she looked like how SRK looked in Pathan with his long hair I can’t unsee it now. Also her voice sounds terrible, it almost sounds like a screeching cat that is being muffled. Shes supposed to play a hot thing in this role? Hahaha! I wouldn’t even notice her if she was in my school. What horrible casting. Girl bye. Tell me how it was. What’s with her walking with her bum sticking out like Malaika so vulgar she is yaar.

All of the songs were annoying. The movie otherwise was MEH. Cant believe Zoya directed this. She has wasted her own time and energy in this crap. Even habits Student of the Year movies are better than this horrible movie.

I feel like I want to go watch Gangubai and worship the floor Alia walks in. My god. These kids are next level bad.

I admit that I can't judge the dialogue delivery...I go with what the subtitles tell me and what the character portray conveys to me ( to m e, not to others). I wrote about my impression and won't repeat it.

The first "disliked" stems from the serial posting of Suhana-criticism I (personally) see as a sign of unfair judgement. So nothing "convoluted", just my honest impression.

Maybe, I would have scratched my head thinking "oh Suhana, please" if there hadn't been two different Veronica-behaviours clearly visible, one a posing one, one a natural one...so - to me (again!) - it shows that the Veronica-character had two opposing sides: an artificial one (= posing attitude) and a genuine one which comes out more and more and is quite lovable.

The way Suhana's acting had been perceived shows me, that Suhana took the risk to get bashed for her acting getting disliked.

As for Ramya's character in Chaahat, I really hope that you don't want to compare a power-hungry and selfish adult character with the quite immature, spoiled and rather lonely character of a 17 year old youngster.

Two absolut different stories which have nothing in common...

Let’s keep it simple na. There’s no need for back stories, essays and justifications. She sucks. Simple. She’s not our cousin or relative’s daughter that we have to care so much or worry or think about her intent or risk she took. She should find another career and spare us.

I'm sure, like the rest of her generation, that she grew up with Poo as an idol. Watching Poo in K3G another hundred times would not have helped. Certain roles require specific physicality and looks. I'm sorry to say but Suhana does not have any of the necessary elements to become a new Poo.

Just keep in mind that an Alia without KJo, if she was debuting today, would be in the exact same boat as these kids.

OK so I finally saw the movie.....and yes it is not Oscar worthy but it is not as bad as some ae making it out to be......It atleast had a heart...it was good in some parts.....

The movie had too many songs.....and the script could have been a little tighter...

I feel that Khushi should have done Veronica and Suhana could have done Betty better....

Agastya was fine as Archie......Archie was anyways stupid and confused....so Agastya was fine...

Vedang undoubtedly stole the show....His role should have been more prominent.....hopefully producers/directors will notice him...

I felt that all the actors were feeling a little awkward...maybe their first movie.....and in order of how they acted....Vedang , Khushi/Suhana...Agastya..

I really really loved the cute sets in the movie.....and also some of the dresses the girls wore were super cute.....It was a good one time watch....not going to watch again though...

Before Archies even came out, he already was cast in his second film. Apparently an Alia movie. I wonder if Alia saw some of the shooting and decided to bag him.
