We need to give atleast 4 to 6 weeks time for a new daily serial to build key characters and put convincing base for main story plots & twists to kick off. Here too much drama, ott characters & predictable plots/scenes/dialogues happening within 2 weeks, not able to emotionally connect. Added it's 7 day episodes telecast, not 5 days so burden on excess work load on cast & crew.

Keep aside hype & popularity of Sriti who as lead actress is fantastic mainly last 3 episodes, KMTMg show's writing, editing & execution is just average.

Not sure if viewers like me can try it for regular watch at 10pm even for 6 weeks, if we minus Sriti as Amruta.

Dont know if it is a new norm to fit many events in a single day. We have the boat fiasco, anniversary celebration plus drama, divorce, and leaving home in the same day and perhaps more to come in the hotel before the day ends. The volume feels too much.

If i remember right, first track of kkb had events divided in many days, with the occasional 'many episodes about a single day/event'. A good thing in this approach is it gives the illusion of space and time to breathe... and perhaps makes it more digestible.

Btw, think mom Ahuja may do better if she is comical - like the lemur king of the toon movie Madagascar. Think they are trying to make her comical, but as of now she doesn't come across in that way. Any case, the lemur king is the closest i could think of for the character.

And yup.. wont bother about the show if not for Sriti.

Chatnis comparatively have relatable characters & situations, good performances, have some story to tell & proper journey to show organically. But too much drama, so many items got rushed on same day/night within launch week..

This new promo is yawning, a predictable BT show template. (almost all BT shows have this plot of FL humiliated & charged on fake police case or jailed..)

Here within second week itself a middle class, high morals unmarried FL is getting shown weak, crying, as a victim, jailed for a fake theft, about to lose her job after already losing her house & her loving supportive father in a shocking heartbreak..rich ML & his family so typically humiliating & harassing FL.

(she may come out of this fake case though..)

Well, I had very little expectations, but can still watch with a lot of fast forwarding. I hope the trp supports them, wouldn't want the channel putting pressure on them for sky high ratings and the story to go even more dramatic and rushed.

What is wrong with the writers, why do they follow the same pattern. If they do the same routine for trps/channel pressure, when will they ever be able to experiment with good stuff. The audience are waiting for normal, simple, logical stuff with a good story. They have got a better than the normal story here with some good casts, but again, they are pulling it into their normal mundane pattern.

The producer/writer must keep in mind that Abhigya have left a strong impression on viewers, so selecting Ajit for Sriti and then going about with this type of weak Auja family set up is not good at all. I feel Virat's grandma and aunt are not at all needed if they are going to show them the way they are doing now.

Sad that Sriti does not have a strong ML who can pull the other half of the story like her.

I do not understand the need to rush things up here with Amruta ending up in jail which is what we keep seeing every other day in every Zee TV serial.

Hoping that the writer will try to show Amruta strong and not bending to pressure. It will be a huge contrast after defining Amruta as a strong, outspoken and independent FL.

Another thing I observed.. The promo shows something and the episode shows a totally opposite thing, this is something that, in my opinion should be avoided. For instance, they showed Bhavani falling down on her knees in shock, obviously, her husband’s EMA getting exposed would shock any dutiful, loving wife. But in the episode, Bhavani was aware of the EMA for years and kept quiet for her children’s sake. This misleads viewers who watch on tv (seeing both promo and the episode) and are not quite prepared for what eventually is shown on-screen.

Agree on Arjit. He has to pull up his socks quickly. Am unable to understand what emotions he feels, whether he is embarrassed, angry or happy. Don't have too many hopes on Amruta’s character. The makers will show whatever they want to show, and make a mess of everything.

Well, we could guess it. Remember, she asked to wait until Amu's wedding happens, so obviously daag mein kuch kaala ta. And we can relate to her, how many parents espe Moms shut their mouths for their children's sake

Plus promos always mislead sometimes so never believe in them fully.

Well... After lecturing her mom on not to go to 'beg' to her father, Amruta ends up going there with the same intention in ep8. Totally unnecessary scene. and in the end of ep 8 there are hints that she may do the same with the Ahuja's, since she has been kicked out of her job. Doesnt go well with what they have shown of the character so far and the scene with dad was cringe. [In a way, so much for being 'independent'.] Had this been not an itv show would've expected her to say 'you' to her dad before leaving the previous night.

In between there is a scene where she kind of shows Virat his place.

btw.. strange that the family - brother or mom and her couldn't find a better place to live for a few days... say, brother's friend. kind of understandable that they want to avoid the female family friend. Younger bro seems like a useless guy.

Bad start for week 2 imo.

The only ace card the writers have here is Sriti as Amruta being independent and strong, fighting for herself and her family without bending down to anybody even if faced with severe obstacles/hardships, so, after such a start and Sriti herself introducing the character Amruta as such, deviating from this so quickly is not a good sign at all.

Why are they rushing up with everything
