actually where i live

there is only one muslim family i know...and he has been married twice..and one hindu family..there also both first wives have no prob with another one and vice versa

(same in arman malik case--even these type of youtubers are increasing day by day)

last year i made a friend she is muslim too...but i never asked her about the marriage laws

about ostracization-->both families i know have not been excluded by anybody where they are known...even one family is very rich and many people want to be in their good books

although i know in some parts of india too bigamy is followed..i was always interested in indian law..and hence i know some of them by heart

so yeah nice to know about some muslim culture too...very happy to see that bigamy is very much frowned upon..

idk where you live but in india atleast society gen takes precedence over religious rules. So even if something is religious allowed ( for whatever context) if it is frowned up by others like bigamy for example it is gen discouraged by elders. Neeti says to her mom she wants to go back to her home i.e., Bajwa house. This woman is such a joke. Her aim behind filing divorce was pretty clear. She said it herself. She wanted to force Rajeev to kick Pari out. She thought Rajeev will take her back begging if she filed for divorce. But nothing of that sort happened. Then she wanted vengeance from everyone who supported Pari. So she dragged them all to court and insulted them. But they didn't bow down to her even then. Now she's caught in her own plan. Wants to go back to Bajwa house, the place she claimed where she was ill-treated. So much for self-respect.

Contrary to the made up stories in the heads of others herethis is what ACTUALLY happens.

Upon hearing about Rajiv' s impending marriage to Pari, Neeti and her mother goes there to confront PARI. Neeti says to Pari that she cannot believe that she will.marry Rajiv even tjough NEETI hasn't been granted a divorce.

Unlike the schizoid rantings of some here, at no time did Neeti requests that Rajiv take her back.

In fact, SHE heads to the courts and she requests that the judge SPEED it up and grant her a divorce As soon AS POSSIBLE. REREAD IT if comprehension is a problem. It is NEETI who requests the process be sped up

By the end of the episode, BOTH Neeti and Rajiv sign the divorce papers

So, that's what will happen on our screens. Neeti will be sad that everything has ended but she signs the divorce papers.

In one week, we have seen Neeti show more strength than Pari has in her own life.

So now people can cope and cry

That's tomorrow's preview (at least in my zone)... I am talking abt what happened in today's episode and, more precisely, the scene of Niti telling her mom she wants to go back home (Sanju's home) after they all came back from the 1st court hearing.

So, indeed, this whole divorce and leaving home was a ploy to make him dance to her tunes, which didn't work.

Neeti will go begging to Pari and they might plan something together. May be to replace Pari with Neeti in mandap. Either Rajeev will find out and wedding canceled. Or wedding will happen and Pari will leave. And Rajeev will run behind her and Neeti will go crazy again. This is going to go in circles till trp falls.

I 100% agree about the turbulent emotions of a breakup, much less divorce. These emotions are never black and white. They are a roller coaster of emotions. Ups and downs. The writers did a great job, for once, expressing Neeti's dual emotions by using the examples of heart verses brain. There are many people who separate not because they are no longer in love but they can no longer live together. Often, there has been a break of trust that cannot be repaired. While we are talking about divorce here, this also pertains to deep relationships even between couples not married. Love is not the reasons why people remain in marriages.

This situation is also very toxic and abusive. I believe writers are presenting two opposite female characters. One, who is weak and is too emotional. On the other, one who is modern and will follow her head. Perhaps we are seeing two different ways to approach this issue?

We are seeing both Rajiv and Neeti process the end of their marriage. They BOTH exhibit contradictory emotions. Rajiv says he will always prefer Pari then he tells Neeti he loves only her. She begs her to start anew then as easily consents to divorce. Neeti says she wants divorce but remembers the insults and good times.

Keep in mind, it is ONLY Neeti facing DOUBLE disloyalty. She is the only one facing BOTH loss of marriage AND loss of friendship. She is the true victim here but, as od now, the writers are having her be guided by her head.

That does not mean she does not feel the emotions of tjis treachery. It is why it makes sense for her to go confront Pari. Imagine, the divorce isn't even granted and marriage is being set

Shall we make a Pammi bashing thread? I hear she is the one who is pushing this marriage. Doesn't she have children of her own? Why does Rajiv mother let her run tge show.

I AM NOT SUPPORTING NEETI AND RAJIV GETTING BACK TOGETHER. I just think it's odd how Pammi says this is my daughter in law and all that nonsense. Did I miss something? Is Rajiv her son? It's confusing

Or, given Bebe's obsession with killing Pari we might see another accident at the mandap and, this time, Pari does end up getting hurt and in hospital.

They do need to end Bebe's track, afterall, her endless nonsense is getting insufferable to watch.

She won’t even let rajeev process the divorce and she is well aware that he is in love with neeti still she wants to use the child as an excuse to get pari and rajeev locked in another marriage. She has to constantly meddle in everything and she is the biggest reason why pari is still in that house. Had she not stopped pari so many times from leaving perhaps all 3 of these people would be happy in their life.
