The only thing that'll explain Angad's moping and current amnesia, especially as far as his mom is concerned, is the fact that he's actually replaced by Sonny Sood. The writers conveniently showed that the password was stolen when the hotel fire alarm went off. Perhaps at some point after Sahiba's confession, Angad got switched with this new blank guy. New blank guy has given Rat attitude and has been respectful to Chachu. But nothing else that resembles Angad is emanating from this guy. Maybe Sahiba needs to hug him. And then we'll have a dhoom tananana moment where she'll be like this some other body lol How else is the show going to explain this!?

Another option is an upcoming mental health track. Being on the verge of financial destruction could be shown to have made Angad depressed and so he's overwhelmed and finds zero pleasure in anything but food 🤔 But honestly if they add that layer to this current track which is a mishmash of so many open ends - God help us viewers.

Love the theories. You are really trying to use logic. But the simplest explanation is the most likely and the simplest explanation here is that VJ is bored, makers suck and therefore Angad is as illogical and annoying as always. Theres also way too many tracks going on all at once. So its just a hot mess.
