See, From my perspective if a person behaves like Ranbir's character has been behaving all through the announcement video, Teaser, and Trailer. Then No matter how many weepy songs you play, I will still hate him

I hate this character already. Just appreciate Ranbir's performance. Like I always wanted him to do an all-out negative character.

The point is, as adults we should be mature enough to see a psychopath for a psychopath

No matter the monologues, weepy songs, or romantic ones. He is problematic. Period

OK, I may have misunderstood it as a dig.

You can hate the character. But Vanga made Kabir Singh a sympathetic character. Worse is expected from Animal.

Adults *should be* is different from what they actually are. Or we wouldn't have this much crime everywhere. Yes, people do get influenced by art. To claim otherwise is disingenuous.

Exactly. There is no doubt that the movie is about a damaged man with severe issues who will sort out things with violence.

T h a t is not a problem to me...it could be like studying/showing a certain character and what lead to him becoming a psychopath.

It could even be very interesting. That's why my curiosity for the story is quite high.

What I would reproach, is the way to show the violence...and I think, Vanga opted for gore instead of audience's imagination.

And yes, this I would boycott by not watching the movie.

The story alone is like reading a book...I like thrillers, especially psychological ones, and they mostly also display violence. But I don't need to see it on a screen (even paying for it)...I know how bad, cruel, deadly, bloody violence can be. My imagination suffice.

I love psychological thrillers. That is my favorite genre. But I don't have an appetite for onscreen violence either smiley36

Like all of Vanga's movies. He gives the audiences all the beauty, and aesthetics of cinematography.

Our human eyes are dazzled at the colorful romance of the genders, but the world literally lives & breathes on violence. The term 'Animal' for the movie means the same.

Well, actually Vanga only made two, ArjunReddy/Kabir Singh and Animal. My feeling tells me, that Animal isn't a justified title except if the gangster-son is called by others Animal...

The world "lives & breathes" a lot of things...violence is part of it...but humans have a choice, they could choose to use something else than violence.

I kind of knew movie will have disturbing scenes, that is why i feel 3 hours and 21 minutes will be too long of violence.

If Animal dies at the end then no one would want to be an Animal smiley15
