I think Deepika accidentally went off their rehearsed #couplegoals lines and that's why Ranveer was staring hard at her and also fumbled by mentioning her other "suitors" that she pretended not to remember.

And then it later turned out that he told the same fake story about meeting Anushka for the first time. Just goes to show how much stuff they invented to create a fake fairy tale for the audience to eat up.

Oh, they absolutely are. DP said initially she was undecided and that could be 6-8 months period they were referring to. It did not drag on till 2015 till Ranveer proposed. I don't have to make it seem anything, this thread and other social media trolling says enough about the backward thinking.

Even in arranged marriages peeps don't put their heads down and get tied down these days. They meet, go on dates, talk, and if everything works out, then get married. Otherwise they start looking for other prospects. And you would be naive to think these people who are exploring partners don't go on dates with different people successively or simultaneously.

I did mention Ranveer exaggerates more than necessary and I found him dishonest about his recent flops and his dressing sense quip on the show. DP on the other hand, I felt spoke the truth for the first time ever.

I also found Deepika quite honest and I really think the couple is a committed one also long before the proposal. (that's just my feeling)

She said in this KWK what she said also in 2013...that casual dating doesn't work for her...it didn't then and I guess, it doesn't now.

Ranveer's facial expression either was because he was taken aback that she talked about that time and/or because it revived bad memories.

Of course there could have been the agenda of presenting themselves as a couple on the same wave length...but Ranveer made me feel that this isn't the case, he still may feel inferiour to her (many comments here show the same opinion)...otherwise I don't see the need to embellish things by doing romantic story-telling.

Yet Karan had his own agenda, too...obviously...and it doesn't matter how much had been staged and how much happened in the spur-of-the-moment...the episode is 'the talk of the town'.

I don't get the hoopla around it. Do people understand what is cheating? They weren't in a relationship so they were seeing other people, that's how it works. Even for arranged marriages, it is not like that you have seen one person so you can't go to see another, people visit multiple houses, meet different suitors to decide with whom they want to settle.

These two weren't exclusive so she was seeing other men and Ranveer was in the know of it.

Perhaps just accept DP is a liar and life is not as rosy as your fav celebs want you to believe than personally attacking members here and assuming about their dating life? Very low blow to make DP better but aint working! Multiple times a lot of people mentioned and pointed out the lie here and hardly anyone mentioned her character but ofcourse it needs to be made into s×#t shaming to save her, aint it?
