They didn't remember any of this nut remembered the nicknames that Dhanraj and Prem gave for each other in ep 3 and they had a callback to it in the scandal flashback where Dhanraj cslled him as PM and Prem called him as DM

Yup I have mentioned in episode highlights thread comment section how I loved the PM-DM detailing

Yk there's that add of Dhoni and Oreo "iss baar India ke jeetne ke chances mat bol". NeiVika scenes ke baare me mat bol is the case here

Yep even i loved the detailing but the journalists who stopped Prem from leaving knew what happened and yet when Bhumi was thinking sbout it she remembered the old flashback of journalists not having a clue what happened

They focus on minorn details but forget about majipr details like this
