It is already hinted that Raghav will sacrifice at the end. Raghav first marriage was broken because there was no love. He know marriage without love won't work.

Sadly the major culprit- the hothead yuvraj is still there, but pretty sure he's only going to be there for short cameos. They have a new family now so makes sense that some old characters will be thrown out. Sad, really. Barring this whole incident, I rather liked that lot, especially Kavita. Viaan is an unstoppable force. He never give up. He is ready to get any punishment except separation from Katha. Garewal was a immovable object. He didn't go to his death son funeral. He let his grandson die. He is not able to tolerate his own Karma. The person who didn't forgive Adi because he married to his own choice, how can he forgive Viaan. He die and with his death kill Katha Viaan relationship.

Sacrifice? What's he sacrificing exactly? Viaan is the one who has sacrificed everything for this relationship. Showing this man as someone whom Viaan Or Katha should be indebted to would be another disaster. This Raghav is just as foolish as Katha for agreeing to this sham. Honestly I have no sympathy for this man. For someone who was in a loveless marriage once, you're deliberately choosing to ignore all the signs and again signing yourself up for an encore. Any person with eyes can see that Katha is reluctant and uninterested. That woman took out your engagement ring within minutes, you fool! You don't even know anything about her past. And you think you're going to have your happy ending. Both of them are just going to mess up their kids even more.
