Viaan was saying that he did hurt Katha and he is sorry for that. So Aarav took that Viaan hurt his mom. For a 9 year old, he can get angry with a person who hurt his mom. And that to the person who hurt her. turned out to be his Robin, his best friend. He did not expect his Robin to behave bad with his mom.

Aarav getting angry is fine. But the way he is shown as bratty and arrogant now is beyond my understanding

Yeah. The issue is not Aarav having anger problems. Anyone would be sympathetic towards his struggles with mental health after what happened. He may not know everything but he did witness the devastation it caused. His grandfather is no more, his grandmother has relocated, his mother was hurt and somehow Robin was responsible. You can understand the anger, the resentment and even hatred, compounded by the fact that Katha has explained absolutely nothing to him to help him rationalise his feelings.

My problem is with how they're addressing his issues. Most of the time he is a normal kid, then you get one random bout of violence that seems more like a tantrum than anything else, and that gets Katha unnecessary panicky calling the doctor in a jiffy like he has some magical power. Why give some outsider, a doctor, so much control over your own child. Therapy takes time and progress is neither quantifiable nor linear. Sometimes you progress, sometimes you regress, some issues take time, some are easily resolved. Marrying your child's psychologist in panic in 6 months, thinking it'll solve your issues, is one of the most laughable excuses for third-angle entry itv has come up with.

Honestly it's not even Aarav's fault much. In none of the flashbacks till now has he been shown asking Katha to marry that guy. He may be the catalyst but it's all Katha's decision. She's the adult here, and it's her responsibility to decide for them both. Who would blame a kid for this? No responsible adult, especially not Viaan. Like he blackmailed his mother or something. You're saying you did it for Aarav? It's just an excuse, and frankly not a very convincing one.

just watched some of the teaser clips on youtube. funnily enough, I like raghav! smiley37 he comes across as a bit corny and cheesy but for some reason, he cracks me up. he seems like a sincere guy

eternalallure -- so what happened to the garewal parents?? where are they???

letha - I agree with you that this is one serial where I wish the leads will not get together. it would be rather cool to see both of them come to some sort of peace and just breakup in a good way and move on. however, I have never seen something like that in ITV and so I don't know it is possible.

if raghav was a single man, katha's indecisiveness and eventual yo-yo will affect only him. but he has a daughter. so it will affect another kid as well and that is uncomfortable. katha should be committed for the sake of both children.

such back and forth affects children negatively and so it isn't good for aarav either for these to come back together.

if this is arranged second marriage, then treat it that way. I have been re-watching yeh hai mohabatein clips and they are so much fun.

but they will make raghav into some weirdo or some saint who will give up on his love or some nonsense. 🤷‍♀️

Good to see you after long. I am also not watching. Saw in a clip in X where Yuvraj talks to Viaan. I think Kailash is dead. I have not watched Raghav scenes. Actor does not seem too good. Adnan has set the bar high. I really don't want Katha-Viaan to end together. They can come to a sort of peaceful co existence.

Actually Aarav did say it to Katha. It was in the episode where Aarav was spraying on walls like a maniac. At the end, he was said to Katha "Abhi ke Abhi unke saath sab final karo" (referring to Raghav but, it was kept confidential to viewers). Still Aarav is not at fault. But, I would have liked him to make this remark w.r.t. losing another friend again. He already lost his Robin now, he is scared that he will lose Raghav too because he was missing because he was gone on a bussiness trip.

However, things are not shown which feel convincing. There are countless monologues of Viaan but, not for Katha and Aarav. Hence, all sympathy is going for Viaan as his POV is clearly explained to audience. but, we have to make it out from Katha's facial expressions as always.

Makers have been employing this strategy for a while of not showing Katha's monologue instead, letting her facial expressions speak for herself. I liked this approach because it allows them to change the meaning of facial expressions shown in that episode by showing something else in future episode without any loss of consistency. So, a great deal of flexibility for storywriters as well.

I know that they will give meaning to her expressions in upcoming episodes but, audience in general is losing its patience considering the weird turn story has taken.

Makers did this same thing with Maaya mausi and Teji as well. But, it made no sense. We never got to understand what she wanted. But, at the end, all of a sudden she was like "Aarav can't be rightful heir of Raguvanshi Empire" . This revelation felt a complete last minute addition because very little was shown by them to support this. Very little was shown that they can't tolerate Aarav as the rightful heir to Raghuvanshis. All this while, it was Teji's fear that Viaan will separate from her bcoz of Katha.

Makers have already goofed up real bad with this Not showing monologue and moulding the meaning of facial expressions in later episodes. So, a general loss of trust is also the reason for annoyance.

Garewals have been bumped off. Papa Garewal died of a massive heart attack, and Kavita moved to London after his death. Reet and the kids had no more role to play. Sadly the major culprit- the hothead yuvraj is still there, but pretty sure he's only going to be there for short cameos. They have a new family now so makes sense that some old characters will be thrown out. Sad, really. Barring this whole incident, I rather liked that lot, especially Kavita. This doctor's new family just seem like him only- that hyperactive, overly sweet, coochie cooing typessmiley37

The leads not getting back together, would work in a finite series type model where the scripts have been fleshed out well in advance, and do not depend on trp, or channel, or audience reactions etc. Rather a positive open-end would have worked better, where their fate and future is left to audience's imagination. Maybe they don't get married, but we're shown that they were in love and willing to give their relationship another chance. Them not ending up together would be much too sad, actually. Like, Viaan said in the last episode, none of them was wrong so could so much wrong happen to them? Now that so much effort has been put into convincing people of the correctness, the strength and purity of their love, their forever separation would be painful to imagine.

Means Aarav is now dictating Katha what she should do???? That's a huge red flag and he will grow up as a more troublesome man than Viaansmiley19smiley19

💯 true, for a finite series where there is no attachment with the characters separation would work but here after developing such a strong and pure bond which had been conveyed and shown to the viewers with so much conviction it would be foolish of the writers and makers to do so. Raghsv’s character with no depth and Aarav’s change in behaviour with not much conviction cannot separate them. All this seems to be a last minute change in the story just to accommodate for a story till another serial comes along to fill up the slot. Foolish makers could’ve chosen another path than this stupid story line which doesn’t make any sense after seeing something sensible.

Mango can add more, if she is still watching it. I am not regularly watching

Accepting the woman with a strong past and a child is still a big thing when you don't have past. Viaan also accept that he can't become father of his own child, is a sacrifice from Viaan side.

I don't think Viaan will become extremely selfless, it is not his characterstics. Also, if he knew that why Katha asked for Money, he would have helped her selflessly.

See, it is not like Viaan was a bad person before ONS. It is not like he was a womanizer. He did only a mistake with Katha. And he repented with it by extremely respecting Katha afterwards.

Though I partially agree that it is not his redemption. If you look at it practically, it was not a test from Viaan side. It is all a planned activity. If Katha passed the test, he would have asked for sorry and then propose. If Katha fail the test (which she is) then enjoy her body and left. This was always his plan. But the thing happen in other way. Katha fail the test but did not belong to gold diggers. So he goes extreme with his sorry. His mental trauma become a plus point. I always consider it is more generous side of Katha then Viaan repentance.

Raghav looks weirdo to me also smiley37

Since he has a "troubled daughter " Katha can start her " turning the girl around adventure , with that educate audience about viewers " I happily stopped watching now going through the posta only smiley37
