By this point she has indicated in no uncertain terms that she'd rather be with Vanar if given a choice and is only in this marriage out of compulsion (probably her quest to dig deeper and deeper for gold)

He is a fool for not leaving this sham of a marriage and trying to stick by someone who'd never do even a bit for him
