The show Anupamaa was supposed to be the story of a middle aged woman who had been oppressed for many years by her toxic husband and in-laws, moving on in life and finding her identity. A realistic story which most woman in this world would relate and connect to in this day an age. A story that would inspire many other oppressed woman to move out of their toxic relationship and to prioritise themselves before anyone else. This was the focus of this show for a while before it sadly deteriorated across the years. Now it’s one of the most disgusting serials out there which should be banned ASAP.
For example this show makes it clear that men can do anything they want and can get away with it. Abusers and cheaters are forgiven easily like it’s nothing and are shown as saaf dil whether they have done domestic violence, cheated on their wife for many years or had a one night stand!
The women however are shown as spineless fools with a humiliation kink obsessed with being the unpaid maid and doormat of their toxic in laws who taunt and mistreat them like they’re trash yet they’re still hailed as Bhagwan after all their atrocities!
Characters flip like it’s nothing someone could be abused by their partner but next second they’ll become the abuser obsessed with abusing the latter and after all this drama both people will reconcile and live happily as if nothing ever happened!
Why is such a disgusting, disgraceful, pathetic show being broadcasted live on television daily! Why is such disgusting revolting ideology being shown to the public! What example are we setting? That it’s fine for someone to have EMA as they’re a man? That it’s fine for a person to abuse someone just because they’re elder!
Such regressive nonsense should be banned right away we are living in the modern era not the pre independence area for gods sake where such rubbish is common! The disgusting production house who are behind such shows should also be banned permanently and should be educated properly on the norms of society!
Usually I laugh at this show and troll how bad it is but I’ve honestly had enough now! This disgrace of a show makes me unhappy, disgusted and depressed! It is very uneasy to see a woman who was once abused by her toxic Ex hanging around with him daily as if she was never abused by him in the past. It’s horrible how she neglects her loving husband and daughter who just want her precious time to serve her filthy abusers who just use her for free service! The character Anupamaa is easily the most characterless female ever next to the FL of disgusting DKP’s other show!
How I wish this show would get banned so that the innocent people that watch this crap daily realise that this behaviour is not normal and that people should never take inspiration from such shows!
Honestly, I’m fed up of all the garbage shows that stupid star plus is currently producing and cannot watch, discuss or troll then further as it honestly frustrates me now! I cannot just cannot force myself to post anything decent anymore without portraying my hidden frustration!
This may be my last post for a while as I seriously need a break to detoxify from this constant negativity in case this frustration turns into something worse.
