If you loved the trailer and haven’t seen the movie what changed your mind and why do you think it’s trash?? Because someone told you they didn’t like it??

If you can stomach the ovverdosage of masala, just like in south movies, and if your head does not spin and you don't feel dizzy with soooooo much of happenings, tooooo much fast scenes, and light speed editing then Jawan is for you

If you feel sizzers with such rocket speed screenplay then stay away from Jawan :0)

I’m starting to resent the notion because “I didn’t like something it must be crap” when it’s nothing but personal and preferences. I haven’t seen Pathan but I don’t go around calling it trash cause I don’t know since I haven’t seen it but Jawan even though not without flaws is a very entertaining movie and as long as I’m entertained movie is good for me. I don’t go to cinema expecting to see only masterpieces I go to be entertained and if a movie does that it’s good enough for me. Also, expecting SRK to do nothing but “good” films is nothing but a childish wish. He’s an actor and it’s in his best interests he moves with the industry cause we all know his “experiments” never work and it’s about time he mixes things up for financial gain. Maybe you need to stop living in the past and hoping he stays the same as he was in the 90s?? Just a suggestion.

A "rocket speed screenplay? Overdose of masala? too much fast scenes"??? Okay, for you, it had been like that.

To me, it was fast paced, no dull moment, interesting twists, great hand-to-hand action, super cool race with trucks, bikes and cars (all together), a well thought-through story with good flashbacks, gorgeous cinematography, great song-dances and bgm with a catchy theme...SRK in two roles with the older one just being super-cool, a very effective girls-gang, a gorgeous Deepika (fierce and emotional), with humour interspersed...

...and especially - what Atlee said - "a love letter to ShahRukh" smiley27

Am I happy for him & his success? - Yes!

Do I think he deserves it & more? - Yes!

Am I a fan? BIG YES!

Were his last few films cup of my tea? - NO! smiley36

All I know is that he's an amazing human being & star who deserves every bit of his stardom. An actor who shines with the right scripts & director. I haven't enjoyed his films like i used since.. was it CE or MNIK. I don't remember. I, for sure don't expect him to act or look how he used to back in early 2000s but in my eyes, he suits subtle, characters that has a certain edge to them the most. Where he isn't required to act checky which comes across very forced. He's a very charming guy. Just give him a well written role & he'll make it everything that spells charm.

Dunki from the poster looks like something close to the SRK I love. So let's see. Wish him much love & success.

I would like to see him go back to his iconic romantic image he is famous for or play more villainous roles like he started off with.

I enjoyed Jawan. Pathan was not very good and I would not repeat it but I'm glad it was a huge success.

I would also like to see him star more alongside his classic heroines like Rani, Preity, Juhi, etc. (no more Kajol please. We have seen enough of them together) than these new actresses like Deepika and Alia. Also can we bring back SRK and Karishma onscreen? Or have him finally star with Ameesha Patel besides their cameo scene in Om Shanti Om?
