Anushka Sharma’s latest career move has left fans curious about what’s coming next

Actor and entrepreneur Anushka Sharma has joined hands with Agilitas Sports as the company expands the One8 brand into the yoga and wellness category. As part of the partnership, Anushka has acquired a minority stake in the sportswear startup and will help develop a dedicated yoga wear and activewear line under the One8 label.

The announcement was shared through social media, where Anushka posted a picture marking the collaboration. Sharing her thoughts on the new venture, she wrote, “Excited to join Agilitas as an investor and begin this journey with @one8world. What drew me in was the intent, the ambition and the opportunity to build something meaningful. Looking forward to creating, learning and growing. More soon ?”

The move marks a new chapter for the One8 brand, which was originally launched by cricketer Virat Kohli. While the label initially focused on sportswear and lifestyle products, the latest collaboration signals its entry into the growing wellness and fitness segment.

Apart from fashion and activewear, the One8 brand has also expanded into hospitality through One8 Commune. The restaurant chain currently operates in cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Pune and Bengaluru. Both Anushka and Virat are frequently seen at the outlets during launches and private gatherings.

On the professional front, Anushka has largely stayed away from regular film appearances in recent years. Her next major release is Chakda 'Xpress, a biographical sports drama based on former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The film is expected to mark her return to screens after Zero, which released in 2018.

Anushka married Virat Kohli in a private ceremony held in Tuscany, Italy, in December 2017. The couple welcomed their daughter Vamika in January 2021 and became parents to son Akaay in February 2024.

Despite being among the country’s most followed celebrity couples, they have consistently maintained privacy around their children and requested media platforms not to publish their faces. The family currently spends a significant amount of time in London while balancing professional commitments in India.
