In tonight's Anupamaa episode, Malti Devi informs Choti that she will teach her dance the next day. Choti, curious, inquires if this will make her a dancer like her mother. In Vanraj's room, he remains unconscious. Baa considers calling another doctor since Vanraj isn't regaining consciousness. Babu Ji prays for everything to be fine; otherwise, he won't find peace. Anupama and Anuj, in a car, discuss the decision to allow Malti Devi to stay in the house. Anupama hopes their relationship can become complete. Anuj asks if she will forgive him and expresses his guilt and longing. He shares how she didn't accept even a glass of water when Baa refused him. Anupama looks affectionately at a small boy who had received Samar's eyes in a transplant. Emotional, Anupama thanks them for keeping Samar alive through their son. Anupama offers Samar's favourite ladoo to him. She is touched when the boy asks about Samar's name and hugs her.
Kavya returns to the room and inquires if Vanraj has woken up. Vanraj asks about Samar and is devastated when Kavya informs him of Samar's death. Malti Devi is pleased to see Anuj and Anupama arrive together and discuss the case with Anuj. Anuj informs about the weakened case. Anupama talks about Choti and their time together. Malti Devi suggests celebrating Navratri, which is approaching, and Anupama agrees, mentioning that pain doesn't change with a change of location. Malti Devi inquires about Anupama's feelings towards Anuj, and Anupama clarifies that she has never been upset with him to the point of forgiveness. She acknowledges her emotional struggle but emphasizes her love for him, explaining that her current situation doesn't mean she holds him responsible or guilty.
Kavya returns home and shares that Vanraj is suffering from post-traumatic stress, causing emotional fluctuations. The family reassures Babu ji that they will support Vanraj during his recovery and plan to celebrate Navratri for Samar's memory, extending an invitation to Anupama. Anuj exclaims Anu's name and shows her a news report about Sonu's arrest and Suresh's statement, which gives them hope for justice.
