A pretty dismal batting performance from Bangladesh then as they have been bowled out for 171. They won't be happy with that at all, particularly considering they elected to bat first after winning the toss. They were off to a pretty poor start - losing 3 wickets inside the first six overs and the trend continued throughout the innings. New Zealand picked up wickets at regular intervals and didn't let Bangladesh get away with any substantial partnerships. The stand-in skipper, Najmul Shanto, was the only standout performer with his 76 and the fact that the next best score was 21 from Mahmudullah tells you a story. Milne was fantastic as he picked up two wickets upfront before coming back to pick up a couple more in his later spells. He ended up with figures of 4-34 from 6.3 overs and was the pick of the Kiwi bowlers. They were great with the ball and good in the field. Now they've just got to go out there and knock these runs off to round out a complete performance. We'll be back shortly.

Trent Boult: The Bangladeshi batsmen came out with a lot of positivity, we stuck to the plans and managed to take wickets throughout the innings. Still got to bat well. I can't remember the pitches from 2013, I remember it being very hot. Used wicket (today), same wicket as the other day. It was quite slow, it was about adapting from our point of view. We've got a big stint with international cricket coming up in the sub-continent. Good learnings on a wicket that didn't offer too much. Everyone saw how well the spinners bowled in the second game. Pace bowlers still play a big role on wickets like this. Runs on the board is still runs on the board, Bangladesh are a quality side, they know how to bowl in these conditions. We won't be taking it lightly.

A decent scoring rate gives Bangladesh something to defend. They'll have to do a lot to turn this into a low-scoring thriller. New Zealand have the upper hand, will they carry that forward to win this game and the series? Find out in the chase. Coverage is expected to return around 5:32pm

Bangladesh need to pick up early wickets to put pressure on the Kiwis. There's no scoreboard pressure on the visitors and some sensible cricket from their side can see them through. Shoriful Islam to start off with the new ball. A slip in place. Here we go...
