Giving personal information like a phone number which is literally connected to people’s every aspect of life is a BIG HARD NO. It’s not going to solve any problems but cause so much more because real information will be at stake. I’m not proving my phone number just so I can come here every now and then. ABSOLUTELY NOT. You do realize trolls will find a way around a phone number right?? You can download an app and provide ten different phone numbers if one is committed to nonsense. This idea of providing numbers is going to bite genuine people who will provide real numbers in the behind because they are not committed to trolling. I don’t think this is a very good idea because if one is looking for trouble and is committed they will always find a way so please let’s keep personal information out of the equations until real security can be provided where people’s real data like bank account, family information etc etc won’t be at risk.
