Scene starts with some wedding atmosphere. A Typical punjabi atmosphere is shown.People flying kites and making floral arrangements and all that basically having a gala of time .beji is shown flying kites so enthusiatically and chandini is shown flying kites disguising herself as a boy and then she is shown removing all her boy's accessories and coming out like a typical punjabi girl (u can imagine a film for her introduction)
Bridegroom scolds chandini for disguising herself as a man and flfying kites.she talks about her sister all the time .she tells her jeeju that manisha who is her sister is quite beautiful and all that and also that she has won a beauty contest in 3rd place.
beeji applies oil to chandini's hair and they have a conversation abt manisha that she is quite beautiful n all that.
chandini's mom asks her dad to bring manisha from the station n that bridegroom ppl will come at 4pm.and he leaves to the station but discovers that train is late by 3 hrs and they seem worried abt it.
All the ppl are shown dancing .Chandini also dances and in the middle of it she listens to a phone call and she runs and picks it up and she listens to her sister's voice
she tells chandini that she is not interested in the marriage and she wont to jalander ever becoz that would shatter her dreams.chandini is shocked listening to this and she tries her best to convince her sis...but all her efforts turns futile...manisha cuts the line in the midddle of the conversation..
