I don't know, I mean yes Ramayan and Mahabharat are epics but it was more of a known story which was only recreated on TV, not to forget the distortions🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

CID was fiction and a game changer, till then most crime thrillers were only episode centric, this actually was a team effort unlike only one major character) and gave importance on character development of each character
