Vikram can't remember Azad as his son because he even didn't know that his wife was pregnant (she herself didn't know it), but he remembers his past, his wife, his love...and what Kalee did to him...he has now the feeling for his son...it was an emotional awakening triggered by the clicking sound (he almost cried because he now also felt the loss.

Exol, a big TANKS for posting this! It reflects in many ways my thoughts about the movie, why SRK did it (with Atlee) and why it is worth a repeated viewing even.

I only quoted this line because I think that it is a homage (not to Akshay!)...Rajamouli did a movie (Vikramarkudu) in 2006 about an IPS officer (Vikram Rathore) and his look-alike which was remade in several other Indian languages. Some elements in Jawan are also plot parts in Rajamoulis movie.

I guess there are many more such 'bridges' to other south Indian movies...

... Srk should play these cool, sarcastic, rough, i don't give a damn characters that are all style rather than the witty, energetic, polished characters.. He had so much attitude as vikram... The sequence before intermission when vikram comes to save azad for the first time is so stylish

Also the whole cigarette thing is synonymous with rajnikanth... But they way they did it here with the cigar was so so goooood without feeling like a copy.. A1

That was cool how they used old songs and homage to South Indian movies and other franchise especially that bane mask and mummy/assassin creed in first scene

I watch a lot of South movies before it became cool 🤣 used to come on tv with those horrible Hindi Bengali bhojpuri dialogues so the feel was same for me, like watching on tv. The feel was grand like South masala movies have. What sets them apart from cheap bw copy, what bw needs to learn from them is connect human emotions with flying cars and cool slow mo fight scenes. They lack it and just blindly copy paste cheap stuff from south

What I liked /wished to see more

No sexual harassment/dialogues/attempts /leering at women like a piece of meat in movie. Vijay don't do that. That farmer wala part that inspector don't do that. Azad don't. Vikram dont. Vijay ka hechmen also don't. When vijay goes to kill that district collector he don't look at his wife in that way. It was sooo refreshing movies need to do away with so called sexy , violence against women scenes.

So much style. The jail? The badass women holding guns? The costumes? Nayanthara ka entry? The entire escape from hospital part with chopper? Daddy srk with cigar? The street chase with oldies newbies? So much style uff swag se swagat

My god Nayan is sooo gorgeous like fckkkk I can't. Her styling 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Deepika too my god when she comes and her smile with srk in the song it's like two of them not Vikram and Aishwarya. Her jail scenes are beautiful, when she shots the police 👌👌the kid was sooo cute.

The blood gory scenes were brutal I wonder how censor board pass these and make omg2 kinda movie have so much cuts. The farmer scene? Fcking brutal who thought it will be good to show on screen? That eye shot. Using lock and chain to hit gosh brutal. The dog death god the way dp screams. Kids dying uff so sad

The entire farmer track it was emotional and so so hurtful. People should treat each other with kindness. I wanted to hug my dad after that scene.

Sanya killed it. The kid who played Alia was pretty I have seen her in some ad I don't remember properly. Others girls are great actor especially farmer one. The kid of nayan was pretty too

Vijay ka role it started as menacing and became a bit comedic, didn't mind much. I guess it was to balance out aggression in the movie Vikram Azad two alphas killing people and he was also same. His Hindi is fine.

Priyamani man she needed a track. The movie was long i get it but I wish she had, she's such a fantastic actor. The scene where she and Nayan fights? Beautiful. All the girls were awesome, there was this Marathi actress and eijaz Khan and Sunil i was so happy they are in this big movie, and ridhi too! It was silly that she's mom but it was explained. The casting team 😘😘😘 pathan also had viraf I was so surprised and happy seeing him. More tv actors on big screen please makers. I wish they showed the girls ka story a bit too how they come to be and form a gang. Maybe a prequel kinda? Please atlee

The reveals were so nice. Srk ka first scene? Mummy returns 🤣 that small kid and police officer link later. The FB guys.

Social commentary especially the speech was interesting I mean South movies does this, Mahesh Babu k movies always have this maseeha angles village people look upto this demigod who fights 100 people and help common man. Jawan mein they have kept it low the hero worship. I had pounding headache before movie so idk how to feel about those social angles. Those are serious issues in our daily life I wonder how many will seriously take this to make a difference.

That mufasa Simba line is so meta i can't. Beta baap wala part. The entire speech idk felt personal.

Romance wasn't developed but yeah it was tight movie everything kept happening one by one, so understabbale.

Once again daddy srk needs to come back in some movie idk where just come. At this rate won't mind don3 with him and ranveer that will be fire.

Last but not the least the mass mass bgm? Fcking anirudh uff a big fan since vedalam, if anyone watched that movie Ajith smiling at goons and that bgm🔥🔥🔥👌 my all time fav movie and that bgm. Ani killed it. Zinda Banda song was cool. I need to listen to all songs again.

It was so refreshing to see that they didn't add a sexual harassment plot, having seen movies there were so many moments where I thought that it'll be shown but I was glad that they didn't go for it

Women are presented in such an amazing manner in a masala movie 🤌
