He's a poor writer IMO. But the books have something which connects with aam janta. Wish I could pinpoint it.

I semi liked 2 States. Didn't like the other 2 or 3 I read.

They are sub par. I think drawing from personal experiences works well for him, like in five point something or 2 states. Whenever he has to use his own imagination to build characters, he falls flat. Come to think of it, there hasn't been one book of his which isn't based on either his or someone else's personal story. And if it is, it's plain bad.

My point is 2 States actually had a semi decent story which was then turned into a script.

Rocky's plot wa KJos though script was written by others.

KJo is not a good plotter. Or writer.

Eta. My mistake. SOHAIL KHAN originally wrote RAR as My Punjabi Nikkah KJos writers adapted it. Well... if anyone could be worse than KJo, it would be Sohail Khan.

Two states. Even the music was better than Rocky Rani. Know one is going to talk about Rocky rani music in 10 years.

2 states. Rocky Rani is garbage if you take out Ranveer.
