But Shivika was a Gul product. No other production house can create that type of bonding and attachment between the leads. In order to get that VJ-Himanshi have to act in a Gul production. I actually take issue with Gul couples because it somewhere feels like male lead is forcing his attention on female lead, always dragging hands, manhandling. People would not like if it was a woman. On top of that they usually have a girlfriend while acting overly touchy with some stranger female without consent.

I appreciated tmd for deviating Angad (post fire track) from typical itv mls who don't care about consent and keep manhandling and touching wife in the name of haq.

But then they flung him straight to bhabi bhakt mls who understand nothing so now I don't know what I would prefer.

Agree. Gul could bring that emotional connect so well. I liked Shivika a lot but I also thought what her PH brought between Omkara and Gauri was also remarkable... Theh showed the pain, the emotional connect so well even though Omkara was an absolute a**h## to Gauri. Same goes for Shivaay but I felt he was better. But the scenes for both the couples were so beautifully portrayed. The pain that you go through when you are in love... Gul used to bring that out from her couples like it's nobodys business. And I really miss that here. Because initally I felt there was a scope for such a deep emotional thing between Sahan. And as you said though Sahiba is very sacrificing and all that ... Of course she likes Angad... It doesn't reach the audience.. Her pain doesn't pain us.. U knw what I mean? Like when Annika and Gauri cried no... Ud feel that they are bleeding inside for their love (both remarkable actors too) but here I don't get that.. Come on your sister is harassing you, lusting over your husband, apparently husband "doesn't" love you..loves your sister... A woman/spouse would be broken completely... She ought to be shocked, dejected, in utter pain and dismay, she ought to be angry at herself, like a lot of emotions must flow through you... Like it'd be one of the most heartbreaking thing a person could go through... All this is absent here... Again I don't know if it's Himanshi Or the writer/direction issue... You mean the angst filled actions? Haha. That not only Gul but many other serials and movies have and girls love them usually atleast on screen. Well Gul also shows forced marriages. Well those anger filled actions aside, the Gul couples have a different level of attraction .For r.g. Shivika /My fav Yakki

Yaah.. MLs were sastha versions Arnav... maybe except Shivaay(coz I like Nakuul 🙃). Love stories were toxic at first and strong FLs would end up being doormats.. But the way Gul brought that emotional connect was impressive... Though the story was bad, you would somehow enjoy their romantic scenes.
