I loved both of the episodes!! The actors are doing a wonderful job so far. It feels like I am watching a web series instead of an ITV serial - so far at least.
First saw Mudit in Ishaaron2 Mein, which he did well there but I did stopped watching after a certain crappy storyline took over. A totally different character. He is giving the creepy/eery vibes so well!! I also like that to the audience he is not such a mystery as from the start we know he is the villain already.
As for Yukti, first saw her on Maddam Sir(a show that i have watched on repeat countless times and KS was my fav character there). I get both Karishma Singh’s and Kareena’s vibes from Kirti but slightly only. Kirti is her own character here….and am loving her so far!! When i watched the 2nd episode where Kirti was talking to the sub inspector, Ajay something…in my mind i went “Where is Karishma Singh and where is this fella..both sub inspectors but this guy is useless!!” I like Kirti’s interaction with her son and how she handles him when he is being stubborn or making sure he smiles. Her bonding with her Buaji is nice to watch as well with her buaji being supportive of her decision to start over. Yukti is doing a great job. I feel that Maddam Sir had actually helped her improve on her acting tremendously and it shows In Yukti playing Kirti! I have watched some scenes from her older shows like Agniphera and even Siya Ram. a lot of improvements!! Well done!!
The kid who plays Puru is so cute.
The taxi driver, what’s his name, he is such a good actor. First time seeing him on screen though he looks familiar. Such a creepy comic role. I like the way the series starts with him eating and singing over the fresh grave he dug. the creepy thriller vibes from the start itself!!
The other actors who play Kirti’s family are wonderful as well for comic relief.. thank God there is comedy as well in the show!!
Hopefully the show remains good and don’t turn stupid for the sake of TRPs..I am actually wishing this was an actual webseries instead of ITV!!
Let me know what you think.
